STAR'S POV
"Why aren't you asleep?" I hear and snap out of the temporary trance I seem to enter every time I stare at her
"I got up for water" I say quietly "I couldn't go back to sleep but it's already morning anyways"
"I see" she says only although her eyes do not open
"Are you still sleepy?"
"Hungry" she says and I chuckle
"Me too. Want to go get breakfast outside?" I ask and she opens her eyes to meet mine
"Yeah, let's do that" she says and I smile
"Alright. I'll go take a shower, you can get some more sleep in the meantime before getting ready" I say and she hums in agreement
"Okay" she says before shutting her eyes once again and I can't help the smile on my lips as I watch her for a second before getting off the bed and heading to the bathroom

"I'm really glad we did this. You know, staying at the hotel instead of going home" I say after a bit of silence driving on the way to the restaurant
"Me too" she smiles, looking at me briefly with a smile that attracts mine
"Are you okay?" I ask and she turns again
"Yeah. Yeah I'm fine" she says and I nod
"Good" I say
"Thank you" she smiles, taking my hand in her free one and my smile is automatic as I stare down at our now intertwined fingers
Is it crazy that sometimes I think she likes me as well?
Maybe it's just wishful thinking but sometimes it really feels like it.
She's so warm and kind and she does things like this. Holds me like this and smiles at me different.
Looks at me in a way that makes me feel really special and like she only looks at me like that.
But again, maybe I'm just being crazy.
Whatever it is, I'm really happy right now. Content too.

"Come on, give it back" Logan says, stretching her hand out to me
"Not yet" I say, refusing to give her back her phone and she sighs leaning back against the chair "What are you hiding in your phone?" I ask, dropping my fork onto my nearly empty plate of pancakes, eggs and sausages
If that's not my favorite thing to have for breakfast.
"Porn" she says without skipping a beat
"Do you even have time to watch porn? If anything I should be watching porn" I say and she chuckles
"I thought your vibrator was the best, why do you need porn?" She asks and to say her words don't embarrass me would be a lie
"Shut up" I say with a clear of my throat and she just laughs, clearly enjoying this "What's your password?"
"Why should I tell you?" She asks crossing her arms over her chest
"Cause you love me?" I offer with a grin and she scoffs despite the smile on her lips
"As if. It's four zeros anyways" she says
"See? You love me" I tease and she chuckles, picking up her fork and resuming with her food while I unlock her phone
