STAR'S POV
"I want you to know that I'm never leaving, 'cause I'm Mrs. Snow, 'til death we'll be freezing" I sing quietly to myself as I look through my closet for something to wear
"Yeah, you are my home, my home for all seasons. So..." I trail off when I hear a knock on the door
"It's going to be morning by the time you come out, it's just dinner, wear something comfortable and come out" I hear Logan say from outside
"I'll be out soon!" I call before settling on the jeans I'd already thought of in mind, grabbing a pastel shirt to wear with it.
Keeping her in mind, I dress hurriedly, do the other necessaries and come out the room and downstairs after keeping the strap of the tiny bag across my body
"Sorry for taking a while" I say the moment I see her stood by the door
"You should take a jacket. It's cold out" she says simply, not minding my apology and I nod
"Thanks, please give me a second" I say before hurrying back upstairs

"I really wasn't staring!" I defend as she parks the car
"Sure" she says, showing clearly that she didn't believe me
"I really wasn't, I just looked for a second" I say and she chuckles
"Fine, I believe you" she says turning off the car and getting out and I do the same, shutting the door and waiting for her to lock the car and then come around
"Come on" she says, leading us into the restaurant and I nod, following after her quickly cause she has a habit of walking without caring if you've started walking after her.
She picks a table and sits and I sit on the chair opposite her, briefly looking out the window before looking at her.
"This is a nice place" I say, looking around.
It really looked nice. Very classy and neat.
"Hm" she hums only, her eyes now scanning through the menu she'd picked up
"I'll pay for dinner today" I say and her eyes meet mine as she lowers the menu to the table
"Really?" She asks and I nod with a smile, picking up the menu
"Sure, it's the least I can..." I trail off when my eyes catch the price next to the meals
It seems I forgot to add insanely expensive in my description.
Classy, neat and insanely expensive.
What the fuck!
I'd basically be spending all my money on one night's meal.
"It's the least you can...?" She prods and I clear my throat
"Well um...it's the least I can do to show my appreciation"
"I see" she says and I drop the menu, meeting her yes
"Yes but um...how about I buy you dinner next time? Not today and not here" I say and she chuckles
"Did you change your mind?" She asks
"For personal reasons, yes" I say quietly, my eyes falling to the menu again
"Alright then, buy me dinner next time at a place of your choice. I'll pay today" she says and I nod
"Thanks" I say, sincerely grateful for her understanding
