STAR'S POV

I stop my fist before it can meet the door as I hear the very noisy and suggestive sounds coming from inside the room.

Okay, I guess someone's busy.

She really has to remind me everyday that I am single and unfortunately currently attached to my fingers and a vibrator.

I turn around and head downstairs instead, deciding to get something to eat and watch something.

I'd spent almost half the day looking up jobs and sending in my resumes. All I can do is keep trying and hope I land one of them so I can start earning money again and stop being a fucking burden.

I'd even been meaning to speak to Kester about it. I'd appreciate it so much if he could help me get something to do, even if it's just to earn little money instead of depending entirely on someone else.

I have to also think about my grandmother and her expenses.

Sigh.

Not even realizing when I walked into the kitchen from being deep in thought, I shake myself out of my thoughts and head to the fridge, wondering what to eat.

I soon shut the fridge when I see nothing of my choice and instead head to the pantry, seeing the very very large supply of chips.

I swear to God, she's addicted.

"Don't touch my chips" I hear and flinch in surprise, turning to see Logan walk to grab water from the fridge

"I wasn't going to"

"Just a reminder" she says and I chuckle

"Don't worry, I know how attached you are to them, I wouldn't do that" I say and she nods

"Good" she says before she opens the bottle and goes ahead to quench her thirst

"So..." I trail off as I hear footsteps and just then a woman about my age walks in, a baggy shirt being the only thing on her body.

"Hey" she greets first, acknowledging my presence

"Hi" I greet back with a small smile

"Your roommate?" She asks, turning and walking over to Logan who is now leaning against the island

"Hm" Logan hums only, accepting the woman's arms around her waist and the brief kiss to her lips

"I'm Amy" the brunette says, her eyes now on me and I nod

"Star. It's nice to meet you" I smile, looking briefly at Logan and back to the woman who had her hands wrapped around her.

Would it be stupid to think they were dating?

I doubt it.

"You should get going" Logan speaks and Amy turns to her

"Hm?"

"Don't you have to go see someone today? You should be on your way so you're not late" she says and Amy pouts

"I want to stay with you though" she says and I decide to just grab an apple and make my way out the kitchen instead of just standing and watching them talk.

I go to sit on the couch and turn on the TV, quickly scrolling through channels.

"Are you bored?" I hear and turn to Logan from where I'm laid on the floor

"Hm?"

"You seem restless, are you bored?" She asks again, half her attention on the show Teen Titans go playing on the TV
