STAR'S POV
She's annoying.
She's annoying and I hate her so much.
She's so fucking annoying and I hate her so fucking much.
No I don't.
Yes, I do. I hate her.
I don't.
God, I'm upset.
"...its usually not as boring as it seems" I suddenly hear a voice other than the one in my head and snap out of my thoughts, bringing my eyes to the blue eyed woman sat in front of me.
No, not Logan and her stupid gorgeous eyes.
Kira.
Remember the woman at the bar? Yeah, her.
"Oh...I see" I say, not even sure what she'd been talking about.
Seeing as I'm the one who called her out, I'm being very terrible company and its all Logan's fault.
"Am I boring you?" She asks and I shake my head quickly
"No, no you're not. I promise" I say "I'm just a bit distracted" I say
"Is something wrong? What's on your mind?" She asks
See? Someone who cares.
"It's nothing really, I had a small fight with a fr..." I trail off before starting again "with the person I live with and I'm a little upset about it" I say
"I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about it?" She asks and I shake my head no
"No it's fine. I'm pretty sure by the time I return home, I'll be all drained of my anger" I say with a small laugh and she nods
"Um...want to go somewhere more fun? It'll help take your mind off the fight for a bit" she says with a warm smile that somehow comforted me and brought out a smile of my own
"I'd like that"

I have no inhibitions when I scream loudly at my cart hitting a rock and tumbling off a cliff.
Damn.
The chair I am sat on finally comes to a stop and the virtual reality glasses are taken off my eyes, the man helping me get up.
"That was so fun. Except for the fact that I died a horrible death" I say once I walk over to Kira who just got off her chair too and she laughs
"My character was a pretty clumsy pilot. I'm surprised I survived" she says as she leads me out of the room and I chuckle
"It was a lot of fun though yeah? Doing this" she asks and I nod
"It really was" I smile, honestly
"Want to get snacks?" She asks
"Sure. I'll buy" I say
"No..."
"You paid for this, I'll buy" I insist and she nods
"Alright. Come on" she says, taking my hand in hers and I can't help the smile on my lips as she leads us to the snack bar

"I'm serious, it was actually so terrifying. I'm scarred for life" she says and I can't stop laughing
