"im engaged" ems said into the necklace that April made.
"me too, Ian proposed last night" Halle told them.
"that's when remus proposed to me" em said excitedly
"frank proposed to me last Friday" Alice giggled
"and you didn't tell us" Halle asked
"no" alice said simply
"well me and sirius have set the wedding for August 18th" April said.
"that's two weeks away" Halle gasped
"so, I've arranged the details. anyways knowing Alice she'll have it this September" April said
"that's true. anyway sleepover tonight at mine!" Alice giggled
"we're 18" Halle said
"so that doesn't mean we can't have a little fun! " em shouted.
"okay see you soon" Alice said before shutting off the group chat
lily sighed, she loved her friends to bits but she couldn't help but be jealous. they were now all engaged... all except herself. she wished she'd had some big news but none of them noticed she didn't say a word.
the front door slammed and she ran down to see James. he'd been on a mission just after they'd moved in together and she'd missed him loads.
"James" she cried jumping at him
"lils." he breathed into her hair. she looked closely at him.
"oh James." she sighed spotting the bleeding wounds on his cheek and hand. she lead him to the kitchen where she fixed them up before turning to him. "i missed you"
"and I have something to ask you"
"what is it"
"look out the window" so she did.she looked into the night sky to see fireworks spread out. 'lily Marie Evans. will you marry me'
she turned back to him and kissed him "yes. I'll marry you" she whispered

"guess who's the last to get engaged " lily cried as she walked into Alices
"awwwww!"em squealed looking at the ring
"so how'd it happen" Alice asked
"he spelt it in fireworks"
"awwwww" they cooed

"not to be insensitive but who's going to walk you down the isle that's a dad role" Alice asked
"i asked remus to do or. he's my big brother and we're close. it's perfect " April said
"well that's a coincidence since I asked James to do the same thing" Halle told her.
"so where are you having it" lily quizzed
"Molly offered the burrow, I accepted" April told her
"ah Molly holds the best weddings. so who's going to do the ceremony " Alice asked
"Dumbledore"
"catering?" Halle asked
"myself and moll"
"dresses" em asked
"all at home"
"bridesmaids" Alice asked
"you guys and my little cousin paige"
"you have a cousin paige" em asked
"yeah, she's hoping to be in gryffindor "
"okay, invites?" Halle asked
"sent out two weeks ago"
"so everything's planned?" lily said
"yes. I can be very organised" they raised their eyebrows "i just don't want to be"
