chapter 15

halle arrived at lily's house. they had two more weeks before school started up again and lily had invited them all over to spend the rest of the holidays at her house. she knocked at the door and heard a lot of yelling and scrambling for the door.

"Halle!" lily screamed as she threw herself at the girl.

"lily!" Halle screamed back

"April" Alice screamed from behind them not wanting to feel left out

"Alice" April yelled from the top of the stairs as she flung herself down them

"emille Rhodes get your self back in this house this instant" a voice yelled from up the street. all the girls came out to see a big scene

"why don't you piss before I call the police. your lucky I haven't done yet" em screamed back, crying

"don't use that tone with me. get inside. you never asked to leave" her mum called back

"no mum I won't. I have had enough of you hurting me and dad. I've had enough of not eating. I've had enough of being scared of going home. I've had enough of not telling my friends because I'm worried they'll tell and I'll get put into care and I won't be able to see dad. I've had enough of your drunkenness. I've had enough of hiding. I've had enough of you " em sobbed before running at full speed avoiding the heavy and sharp objects being thrown at her.

halle stepped forward to the hysterical girl and wrapped her in a hug before helping her inside. many neighbour's were phoning the police at this point.

"ohmigod. are you okay" lily cried

"fine" she said. showing her plasters and bandages "patched up for now"

"we would never have told anyone if that's what you were worried about. if you didn't want anyone to know we wouldn't have told" April told her

after speaking to the police and Mrs Evans checking that all the cuts were heeling all the girls went up to lily's room.

"so what's new?" Lily asked

"sirius stopped sending me letters. thanks halle" April said.

"i didn't stop him. he left with his mother. I haven't heard from him either I'm worried as is James. Peter and remus came last week and he didn't" Halle said. everyone's faces dropped.

"what do you think?" Alice said

"i dont know what his home situation us like. he doesn't tell anyone. " Halle said

all the girls were silent. they may not like his arrogance but the fact that he could be being beat was horrible. being beat in a household of wizards is probably worse than muggle as they have spells and such.

"i spent some of my summer with Frank" Alice said braking the silence

"well i haven't been let out the house" em said

"tuney has a boyfriend. right nasty piece of work. he's coming for dinner. he'll probably eat it all considering the size of him" lily chuckled

"James has a draw of love letters he wishes he could send to you"Halle said and all the girls burst out laughing.

"the boys obsessed" Alice said

"smitten like a love sick kitten " em chuckled

"as was snape. god lily did you see the way he looked at you" April said

"half the boys do" Halle said

"April's got a fan club" lily told them distracting them

"how'd you know That" em asked.

"i heard them having a meeting about her. seeing who can get close to her and ask her out. become her boyfriend. they are all in love and are stalkers. they have photos of her" lily said and April gagged

after meeting petunias boyfriend the girls walked into lilys bedroom in hysterics.

"ohmigod. anyway. April at the beginning of the summer you said you had a proposition" Alice said calming herself down

"ah yes. girls how do you feel about animagi." April asked.

"there awesome why do you ask?" Alice said. April transformed into her dog form and back again.

"I'm illegal, that's what we'll all be." April told them

"so that's how you help him" em mumbled and Lily nodded in agreement.

"help who?" Halle asked.

"well I've learn't what happens if you keep secrets. it may not be mine to tell but I'm going to. remus is a werewolf" April said "you can't tell a soul."

"no we promise." Alice said.

"you won't treat him different" I asked

"course not. it's not his fault. if you don't mind me asking how?" Alice asked

"we were five and out with my mum. my dad had pissed off greyback not too long before and he was out looking for him. it was a full moon and my mum turned her back and the werewolf came running at me. remus knocked me out the way and got bitten. my mum managed to get remus and me out of there and to st mungos just in time." April sobbed. "it's my fault"

"no it isn't. no way. he protected you. he's a great brother, he chose to do it. greyback wasn't in control and remus saved you." Lily told April

"thanks lils" April said smiling
