April, em and lily walked arm in arm up to the lake where Alice sat with Frank and Halle was doing homework with Ian. the marauders were there too. em went straight up to Remus and sat in his lap.
"Evans there's a free space in my lap with your name on it?" James said
"no potter, just no " lily snapped before sitting next to April as they both began to read.
"oi! stop throwing things at us em!" April barked at em who through it would be fun to distract them
"is this chocolate? " lily asked, pulling some out of her hair.
"oi! stay out of my bag" Remus demanded before kissing em. this made April gag and shoot aquamenti and the couple so they jumped apart. and this caused Remus to chase her round trying and failing to push her into the water
"well i don't know about any of you but me and Halle have quiddich practice " April said grabbing Halle and running towards the pitch
"oh crap us too" James said jumping up and running, Sirius following.

it was the day of the match. the second year on the team looked scared stiff. April bent down to his level.
"it's okay you know. you'll be fine, your good. if you weren't good you wouldn't be going out to play this game " she told him gently
"I'm worried I'll mess up and the team will hate me." he confessed
"as soon as you get in the air those nerves will fly away with the game. trust me, I was once in your position, we all were, and if we lose today I won't blame you at all. none of us will " she told him
April was bold and determined. she wasn't one to let the team down. she rarely let her emotions show but she was calm and patient. she was good in situations like this. Sirius black watched her with awe as she took away the little boys fears. he admired her.
it was time for them to go up. "here's the Gryffindor team, chasers James potter, Erin stride and Michel keens, seeker Halle potter, keeper April lupin and beaters Sirius black and Spencer marks who is also captain " there was an up roar following the comments of Remus
"and here comes the slytherin team, chasers amber Richards, Jason Parkinson and Edward flint, beaters Sam Crabbe and William goyle, seeker regulas black and keeper and captain nick Reynolds. " there were boo's and hisses coming from most stands following this.
marks and Reynolds stood in the middle of the field, both teams ready to mount. "i want a nice clean game" madame hooch informed the teams before the captains shook hands so it looks as though they are trying to brake each others hands. madame hooch blue her whistle and they flew into the air.
"and keens catches the quaffel, passes to stride who passed to potter who shoots. ten points to Gryffindor!" cheers rose "Richards catches flys towards lupin shoots and lupin blocks with one hand. potter now has hold of the ball" Remus says.
Michel, the second year, flew below James and caught it without hesitation before shooting and scoring. Halle was busy distracting regulas black by diving and hovering around certain points.
it was now 130 to 20 to Gryffindor. Halle was searching for the snitch while April was blocking any goals made by the opposition. Halle had now spotted the snitch she dived down low, regulas further behind. Sirius was hitting bludgers desperately at his brother. one knocked him of course but Halle reached out and grasped the snitch.
cheers erupted.

after the party the maurettes sat in the dorm that night they all sat basking in the silence. lily and Halle were doing home work, April was day dreaming and Alice and em were painting nails.
"what do you want to do when you leave school?" Alice asked her friends
"how do you mean?" Lily asked
"like jobs? family? I want to be an auror and get married and have three kids" Alice told them
"I want to be an auror too, have two kids a boy and a girl and be married" Halle said
"I want to get married, have kids then when there like 5 become a teacher, here." em said proudly
"what class?" Lily asked
"muggle study's. I have top marks in that" em told them.
"because your a muggle born. I have the worst grades because I have no clue on muggle items but you grew up with them" Halle said
"yeah, yeah, well I want to be an auror, get married, have 4 kids, two boys and two girls, and live happily ever after" Lily sighed
"I want to get married, become a healer, have three kids one boy and two girls, then send them to Hogwarts and watch them grow up" April said.
they all sighed dreamily before heading to bed!
