Sitting in the car, Lin Jun Kai stubbornly clung onto He Xiao's body. He sniffled and nuzzled his head into his mother's embrace. Why can't he go with his mommy?! He can just hide in the trunk... No one will know until later. He can also cook for his mommy. Wuuu~ He wanted to spend more time with him. Looking at the seat, he hatefully glared as if it was at fault for everything. How did an hour suddenly pass by so fast? Was time cheating him? He swears that he had just blinked and they were already at their destination. Why did you move so fast, ah? Don't you know that you could've gone one mile per year, Mr. Car?

Mr. Car, that was wrongfully thrown under the bus: Why don't you say that to your dad? He's the one driving me! I'm innocent... I did nothing wrong~ 。゜(`Д')゜。

Pouting, the rims of his eyes and nose were red. Lin Jun Kai mumbled, "Mommy, you have to remember to call me every night, okay?"

He Xiao stroked his hair, chuckling, "En. I'll call you every night."

Kissing Mo Wang on the cheek, he exited the car with his baggage. There was no need to worry if anyone else saw their interchange as they had tinted windows in the car. Even if they did, he was sure that his lover would crush the news before they could even type 'OMG'.

Wearing a white dress shirt with a grey coat hanging off of his shoulders, his outfit drew a lot of attention. His slender legs enthralled all who laid their eyes on it, with only a similar coloured pegged pants to cover to serve as a barrier. His beautiful ankle was shown off, displaying the lissome shape and flawless skin. As an idol, skin care was one of the basic necessities to an idol's life. Have you seen an idol with blemishes popping up left and right? No. Obviously not. What sells is not only your skills but your looks as well.

Peeking over his shoulders, he waved one more time before walking leisurely to the entrance at a timely speed. Seeing many figures inside the doors, He Xiao put up a genial smile on his face as he entered. The original's attitude was affable and he liked to smile very, very, very much. Even with the OOC restriction removed, He Xiao wasn't so stupid to suddenly alter his personality. That would only draw more attention to himself and may make things worse for his career in this world.

His entrance drew the eyes of many of the other idols. Although his height and figure wasn't something special in the industry, the way he conducted himself was unique. It only added another layer of charm to his stature. His wavy neck length pastel lavender hair stood out like a sore thumb among the contestants, bouncing subtly with every step he took. Especially paired with his beguiling grey eyes that were mixed with minuscule amounts of blue. Clear and limpid, it resembling autumn waters; unperturbed the cool gales.

There was a mix of reactions with his arrival. Due to the expansive news on him, some of the idols were filled with ridicule. They considered him to be an idol who was still wet behind the ears, but he acted as if he has been in the industry for a very long time only due to a lucky break. Some of them held no opinion, they were here for the challenge, and the rest was rather curious about He Xiao. After all, he was still a budding flower that has yet to bloom and didn't have the chance to attend many events yet. This would be their first encounter.

Walking over to the front desk, he checked in with the young female worker. As she checked him in, her face was blushing endlessly as she continuously stole glances at him. Receiving the 'ok' from the young lady, he thanked her and went to find an area to sit so he could observe the rest of the contesters.

Faintly glancing at the phone in his hand, he contacted Bao Bao.

<Bao Bao, how far away are you?>

Waiting for a reply, soon five minutes went by but no reply yet. He tried once more before he assumed that his system was probably busy. He had arrived forty-five minutes earlier than the scheduled time, so he had plenty of time to spare. He Xiao wouldn't have gone this early if not for the fact that the three main guests were going to arrive fifteen minutes after each other. Xiao Rui would be the first one, then it would be Bai Taohua, and finally Xiao Nongzang.

In the original storyline, Xiao Rui almost didn't make it before the arranged time. This made him seem as if he was an unreliable idol who disregarded XR Entertainment. His standing naturally fell in everyone's eyes. This made people's opinion on this nameless idol be very bad from the start.

Putting away his cell phone, habitually, he rubbed the ring on his left ring finger. He wasn't knowledgeable on the entertainment side of the world and only focused on the business aspect, but that didn't mean that he was completely uneducated about the system. Mo Wang had explained a rundown on the overall system of the entertainment world and where things stood. He didn't go deep into details as he knew that He Xiao could already guess the other half of it.

He Xiao leaned back against the wall in a graceful manner, his face seems like an angel's even with his 'dazed' look. It was like he was preparing for a photo shoot and had gotten into position. A few of the participants gave him a few glances because they couldn't believe in his posture. Even if he was to do the ugliest face he could muster up, it would certainly still be more captivating due to the Peerless Mask's effects.

Hearing the door open, he glanced up but question marks emerged on top of his head. Two couples seemingly as if a match made from heaven advanced through the doors. Both of them held genuine smiles on their face as they talked. Blinking his eyes, He Xiao tried to think of why things weren't going as what was stated in the data given to him. How come the female lead came together with the second male lead? Wasn't the male lead supposed to enter first?
