"okay, i have a plan." emma said, setting her lunch tray down as she looked between her friend group.

"for what?" james questioned, furrowing his eyebrows.

"to get the 'bad boys' to notice me." emma shrugged. hannah took a spit take and started coughing on her water.

"are you crazy?" ellie asked, james nodding in agreement.

emma winked at the group before she grabbed a dollar from her bag, "just watch." she smirked at james as she headed to the line for drinks. hannah went up with her, the two stood in the line for a bit, and emma went to grab the most colorful liquid for sale. emma knew her friends would question her choice of orange juice, but the bright orange was too perfect a color.

"how are you planning to get them to notice you? just walking past their table?" hannah asked, emma sent her friend a wink before she ducked her head down.

"watch this, han." emma said, taking a step to the left and unscrewing the lid to her orange juice.

"what are you-" hannah had started, before a deafening silence was brought in edison high's cafeteria. emma had just ran into ethan dolan, her orange juice spilling down his white tee shirt.

repeat. emma just spilled orange juice all over ethan dolan.

"what the hell!" ethan's voice raised, his eyes glaring as he stared at the smaller brunette before him.

"i'm sorry! i wasn't paying attention to where i was going." emma apologized. lies.

"watch where you're going, next time." ethan said, glaring her down.

feeling particularly ballsy, emma scoffed and took a step back from ethan's cold glare, "i could say the same thing to you, dolan."

"you're the one who spilled, what is this, orange juice? all over me." ethan retaliated. chase immediately looked to his friend.

"calm down, e." chase scolded.

"so? if you had also watched where you were going, you could've stepped out of the way and none of this would've happened." emma smirked, crossing her arms as she watched hannah slowly sneak back to the others, "don't need to be a little bitch."

"me? a bitch?" ethan rolled his eyes, before scoffing and walking past her.

"let's get you another shirt, bro." she heard grayson whisper. emma grinned in achievement as she walked back to her table, ignoring the gaping looks from her classmates.

"you brave bitch." ellie stared at her in awe, emma shrugging in response.
