EPILOGUE: No Regrets

Trex's POV

She nodded and checked her beeper. "Yep. Car accident." she smiled at me and ran towards the exit.

After med school, nag-training ako and luckily became an intern here as an assistant oncologist. I never left West Seattle.

She's one of the head surgeon.

"Miss Crowe, how was my patient?"

"She's in the recovery room now. You might want to check her out." nagsimula kaming maglakad na magkasabay. Yung mga nurse natungo saken kapag nakakasalubong nila ako.

"A lot of the new interns have a crush on you." she pointed out.

"Really?" I smiled and shook my head.

"Piece of advice, you might want to get a girlfriend. A lot of people will volunteer." natigilan ako at tumingin sa kanya. "And just so you know, I'm single." she smirked and turned left.

Napailing nalang ako. Miss Crowe is 5 years older than me. I shrugged that offer, mostly because I get that a lot here.

"Dr.

May hawak siyang Spiderman action figure.

"Is my Mom feeling better?!" he cheerfully asked.

"I was about to check up on her. You want to come with me?"

He formed a big smile and giggled. "Certainly Dr. Isidro." I carried Max all the way to her Mother's room.

Max's Mom, Miranda Sheffield, was suffering from a tumor in her left leg. She was successfully operated today.

"Mom!" Max greeted her Mom as he got to the recovery room.

"Dr. Trex. So nice to see you."

"Me too. Feeling any better, Miranda?"

"I'm feeling absolutely fine. I can't wait to get discharged."
