This is the story of a young British/Enchancian-born child named Ethan. As a child, he was mostly happy, outgoing, but not as much talkative; yet, sometimes extremely quiet - his parents, Johnathan and Miranda, loved him regardless of his mental development. During his younger years, around the age of 5 and-a-half, he had began to feel lonely, likely due to the fact that he always had trouble making and maintaining friendships, thus making him feel more like an outcast than classmate, or, 'the odd one out'. However, like something straight out of a fairy tale, what felt like a 'wish finally coming true' happened 10 months later, when his parents had a surprize waiting for him after school. That surprize, being a baby sister. They named her... Sofia. He was so happy, that it cannot even be explained how much he cried of happines - vowing for the rest of his life that he would help look after her, and protect her from harm of any kind as they grew up. They all continued to live out their normal, peaceful, Enchancian lives long afterwards. That is, untill one fateful day, less than a month after Ethan's 7th birthday. The ruling monarch of the country soon found out that there was an imposter in his kingdom and he became quite enraged, sending every guard in the patrol on a long search to find the imposter and lock him up for good. Johnathan had come from a 'foreign land', a place of which, wasn't on the best of terms with Enchancia. The King had just recently stated "Any imposter caught in the boundries of our home shall be thrown in the dungeon for life!". His son Ethan, however, had inherited many of his traits and hobbits, meaning should his true nature be found out by ANY member of the Royal Army, there is no knowing of what would happen to him. So Johnathan, who had now illegally changed his name to 'Birk Balthazar' under the radar, went into hiding. Finally, on May 15th while working a night shift at midnight, a guard on patrol duty was asking the other sailers if they had seen the imposter around the area, as he had drawn sketch on hand for reference. When he finally reached Johnathan himself, he noticed he was sweating and looked nervus, he asked "Have you seen that... 'British fool' lately?" and he showcased the portrait. It finally happened Johnathan snapped "We Brits are not scum..." the words escaping from his mouth unintentionally. "What the!?" came the bellowing reply, it was at that moment Johnathan knew... he had messed up.

He charged at the guard, knocking him down, and he pushed him with his leg off the peir and into the shallow waters below. The other sailers saw what was happening and ran off to inform the nearest guards, whereas Johnathan ran in the opposite direction and raced home to inform his girlfriend of the situation. When he finally made it home to their little home and shoe store, he immediately began spilling everything out onto Miranda's mind. She was horrified, "This is all my fault..." John said softly, "No, it isn't," replied Miranda, "You couldn't hide your true nature forever. Not one could ever do something like that... What are we going to do?", "I don't know..." John replied simply. A sleepy young Ethan walked in, "Mommy? I can't slee- Daddy!" he cried and ran up to his father. "Son!" John replied, who was now on the verdge of tears. "I have to take you with me somewhere, somewhere important," he said calmly. "Where, daddy?" replied a curious Ethan, "You'll see," John said, forming a fake smile while trying to sound positive. His smile promptly turned back into a frown as he looked back towards his now former future wife, "Darling... I-". "No!" she stopped him "I won't let them take you away from me, from our son, from our newborn daughter..." she began to cry softly. Her boyfriend shushed her as softly as he could, and cuddled her along with Ethan. "This may be the last time you and myself will most likely ever see them, Ethan..." John said quietly. "Why, daddy?" the child asked. "Because there are some bad men coming," he replied, "BAD!?" cried Ethan. He was quickly shushed by his father, but even HE began to panic as they all heard marching footsteps outside. "Oh no..." John said with the sound of fear in his voice, "They're coming!". "Sweetie..." Miranda said softly through her sobbing, "It must be done..." replied her lover, "Our boy must come with me, if we are to survive...". Miranda began to sob harder than before, "Please! I'll talk to them! They'll listen to me!". "No they won't, honey!" John snapped, "It's over for me!". "Don't shout at mommy!" Ethan said angrily as he stomped his foot on the ground. Both his parents were quite surprized, John then kneeled down to his son's level, "My brave boy..." he said softly as he hugged his son tightly. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door - a simple one at that. "They're hear," gapsed a frightend Miranda. The father escorted his family into the kitchen and told them to wait there and not make a sound. Johnathan bravely and slowly walked up to the front door, clenched his fists, took a deep breath, and opend the door. Armed troops and villigers flooded the street, "Birk Balthazar? or should i say, Johnathon of United Kingdom" boomed the one at the front. With the design of his armor, his imposing stature, and a tough and commanding voice, he was most likely the Captain of Enchancia's Royal Guard. "Listen" Johnathan said calmly, "I don't want any trouble. Can we please talk about all this?". But the Captain ignored him, "You are wanted man in our kingdom, and are to brought before King Roland the First for questioning. Please come with us" Replied The Captain. But John held onto to his words strongly, "I had absolutely NOTHING to do with the war between my home and yours. I was a civilian, not a soldier. To put it simply: I'm innocont". "THAT doesn't matter," replied the Captain, who was becoming annoyed, "You ARE coming with us weather you like it or not", all the armed villagers shouted in agreement. "If you don't want to leave, we'll make you leave," the Captain said coldly. He then walked up to Johnathon and got right in his face, "No real world savages allowed in our kingdom" he said darkly. Johnathan had had enough, he headbutt the Captain as hard as he possibly could, causing him to stagger back in pain. John then raced back inside, slammed the door shut and locked it. He quickly ran to the kitchen, picked up his son and turned to his sobbing girlfriend and sleeping newborn. "Goodbye, my love..." He said softly, before alloing his lips to meet hers. After they parted, Miranda hugged him as tightly as she could, not wanting him to leave her side. "Please... don't you ever forget about us..." she said while tears were still streaming down her face, "Don't worry... we won't" he smiled encouragingly as he looked to his eldest child. Miranda then turned to him, "My baby boy..." she smiled all the while sobbing endlesly. Johnathan and Ethan both turned to 5 month old baby Sofia, "My little princess..." smiled Johnathan, his eyes now producing two miniture waterfalls. Ethan looked at his baby sister and hugged her softly whilst bursting into tears, "I love you mummy, and Sofia...". "I love you to, baby" his mother tearfuly replied, "We'll be back together soon, I promise." Ethan looked ato his sister one last time, she opened her little eyes and her big brother was the first thing she saw. She smiled at him and giggled like most babys do, and Ethan smiled back at her still with tears in his eyes. "It's time to go, son..." his father said softly, "Ok, daddy..." he sobbed as he was picked up. Miranda kissed him on the lips one last time before the door was fully kicked in. John raced out the back door, carrying Ethan safely on his back. Miranda watched as her lover and son vanished from site... The armed villagers and guards quickly began searching through the rooms looking for the 'imposter', while Miranda hid herself and baby Sofia in a large counter cupboard. Finally, the guards and villagers gave up and left through the now half-destroyed front entrance.
