One Year Later

Jaycee Burden was chilling on a lounge chair in the back of Drakes mansion. His new album blasted from everything corner and he was on the grill making burgers and hot dogs. Over the year Jaycee really worked on herself and to just feel better about herself because that's what she needed the most. She hasn't seen her friends in months since the last time she went down to Atlanta.

She felt out with Kailee she felt like she was very one sided and saw no wrong in Dave's doing. And Dave she doesn't speak or even look his way shes moved on and was serious when she said that a year ago. "Aye Jaycee come back to earth" Drake said snapping his finger in my face. I smiled getting out of my thought "Sorry nigga im back what happened" He laughed then tossed me my phone. "Your shit been blowing up better answer it" I looked at it and it was just various missed calls from Alexis and Kennedy.

I called them both in a group chat to see what's up "Finally bitch we've been trying for like five minutes" I missed these two honestly but I just needed time away and thats what I was gonna accomplish. "Y'all ain't call me to just catch up what's going on" I shook my head. "You better be coming to my birthday bash Jay you are not allowed to miss it" I've missed a couple parties just because I was lazy or busy.

"I will come for sure I've missed everybody y'know Desus calls me everyday and catches me up" Me and Desus got really closed he was my family and had my back. I still talked to everybody but not just as much as Desus "He loves you off I'm just mad you didn't come to Kailee's wedding you still were a bridesmaid and everything" I sucked my teeth "Your crazy if you thought I was plus I had a photoshoot that day. I've become a buisness women girls" I laughed at they reaction.

"Yes bitch but I got to go so see you soon" I put my phone on the table and walked over to Drake and his friends. "Hmm Jaycee when you gonna move out here" His friend Ob asked. "Never I'm just here for temporarily now when the food gonna finished I'm hungry" I asked Drake who was too busy taking pictures of me. "Oh come on you big baby I need to talk to you anyway" He put his arm around my neck as well walked back inside the house. We sat on the couch "I know you happy and shit and I'm real happy are you ready to get back to Atl" I shrugged my shoulders.

Drake was going on tour soon and its not like he didn't trust me in his house he just wanted me to be okay. "I will if anything did you forget your always a face time call away" I cuddled up under him wrapping my arms around his chest. "I know you call me every night with your scary ass" I laughed pushing his head away. "Whatever but in all seriousness thanks for everything you ain't have to do all this" He kissed my forehead. "I know but I will and I always will now let's get back to the party" We got up and he smacked my ass. "You wanna die before tour" I stuck my fist to his face.

"Uno Bitch suck my dick" I said slamming down my last card then taking a shot of henny. "I swear you cheat every time Davey" Kailee said laughing. Dave's face went straight he hasn't heard that name in a year and didn't expect to hear it ever again. "Oh shit I'm sorry Dave"Kailee said noticing her mistake. He brushed it off and continued enjoying this game night.

Dave was in a better place he focused merely on his music and it was sticking he was getting a buzz. He cut ties off of from Dreamy and Xavier for good knowing where his wrongs were. He's tried to apologize to Jaycee numerously but she never looks or even acknowledges he's existence. He gave up and just watched her on instagram as she flourished and he was nothing but happy.

"Earth to Dave the food ready" Desus said smacking my head. I looked at him like he know I won't beat him up "Touch me again you clown ass nigga" I followed behind to go make me a plate. "Anybody hear from Jaycee she been absent" Jaheim asked and I just looked at everybody I wanted to know the answer myself. "She's coming this weekend for my birthday bash" Alexis said clapping. "She's coming to that I'm surprised" Kailee said clearly hurt. "Oh cmon you know how Jaycee is y'all can hash it out this weekend" I just ate in silence.
