Dork Diaries: DORKANRONPA - Part 1

CAN LOVE SURVIVE?:

I'm exhausted, an entire day of exploring the third island. It just tires you out, add that to the mental exhaustion from that trial yesterday and you get one tired Nikki Maxwell.

*Sigh* I miss the old times. I thought that my life was complicated, but this is hell.

This is a living hell. The days of chasing after a boy at school are long over. Because love can't survive in a place like this, look what happened to Jason and Jessica or Preston and Violet.

Jessica and Preston were jealous because the person that they loved desired somebody else.

Jason desired Ryan and no matter how she tried to deny it, I know that Violet had feelings for Marcy. Just remembering her reaction to her death haunts me.

It makes you think about if this is really a situation that's worth living in, a killing game with no mercy. Constantly paranoid, watching our backs in case we're betrayed.

But I have hope, I have the hope that I can return to my past life. I'm certain that love can survive in a place like this and be it Brandon or Maxwell... I want to experience true love before I die.

*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK*

I heard a knock on my cabin door. I felt an anxiety rush through me as I looked through the keyhole.

CHLOE: "Nikki, it's us."

ZOEY: "Please could you let us in?"

Oh it's just Chloe and Zoey, that's a relief.

NIKKI: "Hey girls, one second I'll unlock this door now."

CHLOE: "Listen Nikki, we just want to apologize for everything that we have said or done since the last trial."

ZOEY: "We have been cruddy, pessimistic friends and we're so sorry for that. Would you find it in your heart to forgive us?"

NIKKI: "Girls... I could never not forgive you. Come on, we're BFFs after all."

We embraced into a group hug.

CHLOE: "Thank you so much!"

ZOEY: "I guess that we truly are BFFs."

NIKKI: "Until the very end, we're eternal friends."

CHLOE: "I still wish that we weren't on this island though, it's a major problem for us."

ZOEY: "But it's our life now, and we can't change that. No matter how hard we try."

NIKKI: "So, why don't we bring our past life to this island?"

CHLOE: "What, are you insane? There is no way that we can bring the city of Westchester here! OW!"

ZOEY: "That's what you get for not thinking straight Chloe. What Nikki is trying to say is that we should do things on this island like we would do back in Westchester."

CHLOE: "Right! We could read!"

ZOEY: "You can read anywhere..."

NIKKI: "Maybe we should have a sleepover?"

CHLOE: "OMG A SLEEPOVER SQUUUUUEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

ZOEY: "Don't the rules say that we're only allowed to sleep in our cabins?"

NIKKI: "Nope, because the rules state that we can only sleep in THE cabins and it doesn't specify whether that it's our own or not."

CHLOE: "Nice, smart thinking Nikki!"

ZOEY: "So, shall we get started on some sleepover games?"

CHLOE: "I know! I know! Let's play truth or dare!!!"

NIKKI: "Sounds great, as long as it doesn't involve coating mansions in toilet paper again."

ZOEY: "Oh come on, it was pretty funny!"

CHLOE: "We almost got expelled for it!"

NIKKI: "And if it hadn't have been for Marcy saving us, we would have been!"

CHLOE & ZOEY: "..."

NIKKI: "Oh right...Marcy..."

*Awkward silence*

CHLOE: "Okay, let's liven up the atmosphere! Zoey, truth or dare?"
