The Fourth installment of the Danganronpa Series! 16 Elite Students, Super High School Level Talented, pitted against one another in a Brutal ceaseless survival game. Meet an all new unique class! New talents! New voice actors! New personalities! The aim of the game is to kill one of your ultimately talented classmates and get away with the killing through a class trial. First, kill someone, secondly, after three or more people discover a body the Body Discovery Announcement will play and Investigation will start, in this time the students must go over the crime scene and gather evidence, then the main event begins, The Classroom Trial. In a class trial everyone is the suspect, judge, jury and executioner. If the class successfully identify the killer, they alone will be taken to punishment! A nicer way of saying execution, however if the class identify an error, the killer gets to live and everyone else is punished! This story will come with audiovisual aids! Some photos, some videos! Heads Up: This is a Next Generation AU for the series Danganronpa. There will be references to all 4 games as well as the anime, so if you're unfamiliar with the series then it is highly recommended you either watch gameplay or play the games yourself, as that will give you the best reading experience. Since this story is a fanmade killing game, there will be mentions of violence as well as Major Character Death, so if you know you are someone who is sensitive to that material then it is recommended you give this story a pass. With that said, onto the ACTUAL description! ----- Hopes Peak Academy. A prestigious school, one that carried respect and praise; it is said that attending the school would grant you a successful future, whether that be money, fame, or status. The students represent the future of the world, their titles as Ultimates representing the hope that followed our future leaders. Satoshi Ikusaba, the Ultimate Strategist, had a plan on how his first day would go- he made sure to prepare for ANYTHING that could happen. Breakfast before school? Check. School supplies ready? Check. Getting him and his step-sister to school on time? Check. Passing out at the front of the school and waking up in a weird hotel with no idea how he got there? Check... Except the only problem is that the last bullet point wasn't on his list, or even something he took into account in the first place! Thankfully, he isn't alone; With his step-sister Kazue Maizono and his closest ally Jun Naegi on his side, he'll make sure to find the mastermind and put an end to this killing game once and for all! (or die trying.)

!!Spoilers for all of DRV3!! It's probably recommended you've played DRV3 or at least are aware of the entire game's events before reading this. It's been a year since the game show Danganronpa finally came to a close in its fifty-third season, and the outside world has forgotten all about the once beloved franchise. However, the survivors from the finale, Shuichi Saihara, Maki Harukawa, and Himiko Yumeno, even after all this time, can't let those past memories and feelings go of what happened within the game. Regardless of what they try, their past keeps coming back to haunt them. They decide that the only way for them to finally find peace with themselves is if they return back to the academy to investigate, for the sake of their passed friends. However, upon returning, the three discover odd things. Things being moved around without warning, the sounds of muffled whispers surrounding them, the feeling that someone's behind you when no one is, as well as getting intense visions that distort reality, seeing unwanted past memories and feeling like you're trapped in a nightmare. The school's being haunted by their dead classmates. Their souls still trapped within the school's halls, even one year later. Moving on takes time, but just how much time is enough? Note- Just a fun AU I decided to write about with my friend. It's more of a project I made solely for passion and in general, fun with this friend I have. I'm still practicing being a writer so I'm sorry if this has any grammar errors. This AU is mixed with a similar fandom/game called "Ace Attorney," which while it isn't the main focus, it's heavily involved within the "outside world" sections of this. I do not own any of these characters! This is merely just a spin on the original stories in order to expand them for my own personal fun.
