"Baby, wake up." Finn pushes on your shoulder and you slowly start to wake up.

"Babe, it's 7am."

"It's Valentine's Day." Finn says with a goofy smile, hair messed up.

"It'll still be Valentine's Day at 10. Wake me up then." You roll over and try to go back to sleep.

"No! Babe, I'm too excited. I wrote you something." You hear Finn open his bedside drawer and grab a piece of paper.

Intrigued, you sit up.

"Now I wanna hear it. Read it to me, babe."

"Okay, it's kinda long. But, here it goes. Y/n, every year I'd ask myself, what is Valentine's for? Why do we have it if not everyone has a lover or partner? Why do I spend every Valentine's alone while all my friends are out with their girls buying them fancy dinners or taking them to movies or amusement parks? I felt alone for the longest time. I'd always brush Valentine's off. I'd just forget about it and wait for the 15th to come around. But this year I realized, oh shit, I have a girlfriend! Like a real life beautiful human girlfriend that I've gotta spoil and buy things for. But then I remembered you. How you are. How material items don't satisfy you. Only things that have heart are things that you desire. So I wrote you this letter. What is Valentine's for? My answer, is that Valentine's is for me and you. I love you, y/n."

Once Finn finishes you instantly attack him with a hug.

"Oh my god I love you I love love love you." You plant kisses all over his face.

"See, I was right. This is so much better than flowers or chocolate, right?" Finn asks, holding you.

"Uh, duh! Absolutely. But now my gift of a giant candy basket looks like trash compared to what you got me." You laugh.

"Oh, stop. You know I love you. and candy. Lets celebrate for a bit and then when we're done maybe we can eat up all the candy and go for a nature hike?"

"Yes! Perfect."

So that's how it went. You and Finn had the best day together. The best part is that neither of you ever thought you'd end up happy. But there you are, happy as ever. Together.

(Happy late Valentine's I love you all so so much)
