I suddenly remember why we were here in the first place," How did Luis get into the car crash?" I ask, gasping.
"I have no absolute idea, dear," she sighs.
"How long have you been waiting?"
"Half an hour. It's going to be a few hours, because he got seriously injured," all of a sudden she breaks down in tears.
"Aww, don't cry," I pout, leaning my head onto her shoulder, holding her arm.
"Sorry, darling. It's just.. he has cancer and this is too much for me to handle," she cries, making me freeze completely.
What the hell did you just say?
"Sorry, what?" I stutter, shaking my head.
"Hun, please don't tell me Luis didn't tell you," she asks, worried.
Tears flow down my down my cheeks, as I look away distracted.
"Katarina, Honey," she softly says.
"Please. Stop," I say, slowly getting up from my seat.
She sighs, watching me walk away silently.
I have no idea as to where I am headed, but I just go wherever my feet takes me.
I bump into someone, but I don't pay attention.
"Baby girl, did something else happen?" Keira asks, noticing my clearly evident pout and tears.
"I need some alone time," I whisper, walking past her.
She nods her," Yeah, of course!" she assures me.
I start to run as soon as I get out through the auto doors. I turn a corner and find a dead end. My feet come to a halt when I see no one around.
"Why?" I whimper, my palm coming in contact with the white brick wall.
I cry for what seems forever, but grab my phone immediately. I call the first person to come to mind.
"Hello?" my heart beat calms down, just by hearing his voice.
"Asher," I whimper.
