Recap || << I quickly dial Keira's number. It rings for a couple seconds until she picks up.
"Hello?"
That is so not Keira's voice. It's deep, unless she's sick- oh crap, I just judged my best friends voice, I feel so bad.
"Crap, Kay.. are you feeling good?" I ask quite concerned.
"Yes?" she asks, but it comes out more of a question than answer.
"Daniel, are you sure-" ugh. Asher has been talking about him all day.
"I am! Keira has been looking after me!"
"-I mean, Keira. Wait, Daniel?"
I hear a nervous laugh," Yes?" >>
"Why're you answering Keira's phone?" I ask, emphasising 'Keira's'.
"Uh.. she forgot her phone at my place," he says hesitantly, and obviously I catch on that he's lying.
"Wh-" he cuts me off shortly.
"-She came over to ask me a question," he's acting as if I'm stupid or something.
"Shut up and tell me the real reason," I say impatiently.
"I don't kno- Bye," Beep - Beep - Beep. That stupid monkey nuggets! He literally hung up on me.
"Hey there babe," I roll my eyes, already knowing who it was.
"What do you want, Luis?" I ask when I slowly turn around and glare at him. If looks could kill, he'd be 10ft under the ground. I put my phone into my back-pocket.
"I saw you standing there, and I just wanted to see if you were alright," he shrugs, putting his hands into his jean pockets.
"Of course, I'm alright. I'm standing up straight and talking to you, right? If I were injured or something, I would've been dramatically screaming, while laying on the ground," I say sarcastically.
"True," he nods, but we then both start laughing.
"Rena," We both turn around to see Asher. His tone was like letting us- well me know that he was present.
"And Luis. Are you blind or something? Gosh," My voice exaggerated.
"Hey, wassup up man," Luis puts his hand out for a bro hug, but Asher just looks down at it expressionless.
Well.. he's a jerk, but I already knew that.
Luis high-fives himself and grins.
"Lets go," Asher says, hopping into his car, not even glancing at Luis.
"Alright. Au revoir, bébé," Luis says, and I just laugh, because I don't know what he just said.
"Bye," I then hop into the car and am greeted by a frowning taxi-driver.
"Asher," I say.
"Yes?" he replies, giving me a sarcastic smile.
"You good?" I ask, putting on my seatbelt.
"Yes, I'm fine," he then pulls out of the parking lot, as he notices I'm buckled in.
