As always, he saw the one that meant so much to him.
He had forever assumed that he couldn't love, or lust after another like this.
But he was terribly wrong.
Day after day, he saw her smiling face. The same, yet genuine and care filled greeting, escaped her lips in the mornings.
She would always check on him at certain points of the day.
He loved that about her.
Or was it the way she carried herself?
Her straight posture that told the world, "Look at me!"
Or maybe it was her smile?
It spread across that beautiful face of hers, and shone brighter than one thousand rukh.
Maybe it was her personality?
Kindness seeped from her pores, and loyalty kept a lock on her mind, while empathy and sympathy for others held a firm grip on her soul.
That was just her nature.
But she did have negative traits
Understandable due to her past.
But that didn't stop her from helping others.
More specifically, Ja'far.
She had been there.
In that dungeon.
Fighting alongside Sinbad and the others.
What she saw absolutely broke her heart.
The young boy, no older than herself, had already almost fallen into depravity.
'How could someone do such a thing?'
After the boy was saved
She promised to stay by his side
And help him in any way necessary.

As the years passed, a new feeling arose between them.
Their mutual feelings of friendship grew to something more.
He was the first to realize, but he loved her.
His first love.
The first person.
His first, actual feeling of the emotjon.
He did everything in his power to show her
But she, with her own feelings, doubted she could ever be loved by anyone.
Even him, her own interest.
She loved him so much
But she felt as though she would get rejected.
She didn't want their, very treasured, friendship to crumble.
So
She stayed quiet.

Sindria had become prosperous.
The boy, now a man.
The gril, now a woman.
Both had the mutual feeling of love towards each other.
They had forever been pestered and asked by companions,
"When will you tell her?"
"When will you tell him?"
Everyone else, besides the two, seemed to know that they loved each other.
It had been years since he first felt this way towards the woman.
Everyday, the love was set ablaze again by the sight of the woman.
(Y/N).
The only person to steal his heart.
So,
At the Maharajan festival held on that day, he decided to finally confess.
The night was dark, yet filled with hundreds of tiny flickering stars.
The atmosphere was one of joy; all of the citizens were celebrating this occasion.
The Generals were ecstatic at Ja'far's plan.
She was unsuspecting.
The man addressed her, asking if they could go somewhere quiet, and private.
She, of course, did not hesitate and agreed.
They went of, and stood at the top of the Grand staircase leading to the palace.
He gazed at the woman.
As always, her shimmering eyes held such raw emotion.
As always, her atmosphere was one of tranquility.
As always, her soft smile calmed his nerves.
He knew that, even if she did reject him, their friendship would not be tainted.
"(Y/N),
I have to confess that I've held romantic feelings for you for quite some time.
Your everything is so wonderful to me that I can't even put it into words.
More simply,
I love you."
She gave a reaction that he did not expect.
Silent tears fell down her face, and her smile grew.
She lovingly looked into the man's eyes and softly whispered,
a whisper only an assassin would be able to hear,
"I love you too."
