CODY'S POV
Indeed my face was wet from my tears and Ruby came and gave me a hug.
I don't know why I'm upset, is it because I hurt my sister and best friend or that I may have lost the best thing to happen to me in over three years?
I wasn't going to give up that easily, I walked to Jake's house and his surf board was outside so I guessed he was home. I walked in and he was sitting down on the floor, head in his arms.
"You alright brah? I asked him. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have got angry, you're my best friend. "
He got up and gave me a "man" hug.
"I'm sorry too mate."
We broke apart and he asked me " Have you apologised to Alli yet?"
"Yes, but I have to get Sophie something first. Oh and here."
I gave him some money. He just stared at me, "For a new surfboard."
SOPHIE'S POV
I was upset and Alli was too. We just sat there in my room eating ice cream.
"You okay Soph?" Alli asked me.
"Yeah, I suppose, this is what I was afraid of, if we went public and now we've blown it. Not even a day." I said and Alli hugged me.
"It will be fine, I promise. "
"So how's the Jake situation? Cody ruined two things today?"
"I don't know, I love Jake and I've grown up being told that Cody wants to approve of anyone I date and I've always wanted him to. I just don't know what to do."
Alli's phone rang. She put it on speaker phone.
"Hello"
"Hiya" Jake said.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, look you and Soph come to the beach with Me and ....... Josh."
"Is Cody coming?"
"No."
"Okay, we'll be there."
We got dressed and we headed for the beach.
When we got there I saw a figure.
I walked closer to the figure.
It was Cody.
Standing tall and handsome.
Holding a bouquet of flowers and smiling at me.
