"Happy birthday!" (F/n) cheers and I grin. The Slytherin's girls' dorm was lightly decorated with balloons and ribbons.

"Aww thanks guys." I smile at the girls. It was great being so close to them. Though I was closer to some than most, I still had a great time with all of them.

"C'mon! Open the presents." Pansy grins. "I got you the best one!"

"No you didn't, I did by far!" A couple of the girls started arguing over who got the best gift.

"Guys! I'll love them all the same!" I chuckle.

I rush over to my bed and jump on it while the girls place all the gifts in front of me. I smile at all of them and say a quick thanks before opening one.

"Aww this is... sweet?" I say, lifting up the oversized jumper with my initials on it.

"Because I know how much you love my mum's knitting!" (F/n) laughs and I do, too.

I open a couple more gifts before finally stumbling upon the last one buried right at the bottom. It was small. I thought I already opened everyones?

"Who's is this one?" I ask, slowly and carefully unwrapping the maroon paper.
I look around and all the girls shrug and move closer, interested in what it is.

"It's... beautiful." I say. It was a small black velvet box and inside were the most gorgeous jewellery set I've ever seen. [Media]

"Ooohh, who's it from?" All the girls are pushing and shoving to get closer.

"I don't know. There's a note." I say, lifting up a piece of paper. On it was very neat calligraphy.

I blush at the note and start grinning like an idiot.

"Oh my god, we have to find you a new dress!" My birthday was rather close to the Yule Ball. In fact, it's next week! I already had a blue dress but it looks like I'm changing it up a little.

"Do you like it?" Pansy asks as I stare at myself in the mirror. I nod hesitantly.

"Yeah I just... don't feel confident enough, I guess." I reply.

All the other girls were in their dresses and makeup all look stunning.

"C'mon, put on the stuff your lover gave you!" (F/n) cheers, handing me the velvet box, I sigh and pick up the pieces as she holds the box. Slowly putting in the earrings and the rest and finally examine myself in the mirror.

[Dress:]

I smile. "Okay, I'm ready." I say and (F/n) squeals and grips my hand.

"Let's go!" She yells and drags me out.

The girls have all run off with their dates but I know for a fact they'll all be watching me. I look around nervously and see many people in green ties.

What the fuck! Whoever sent me this is a complete idiot. I mean how could they not think that other men would wea-oh hello...

My thoughts starts flirting the the platinum haired boy standing not too far away. Thought he's not looking at me. He has his hands in his pockets and is looking around.

No way is it Draco that gave me this.

[Suit:]

He looks handsome in his suit. I want to walk over to him and ask if he was the one who gave it to me, but I know I'll just end up embarrassing himself.

Suddenly he turns his head in my direction. He eyes my dress and necklace. He then looks at my earrings and bracelet.

He pauses and I freeze.

Then a small smirk displays along his features that nearly winded me. He then walks closer and I am unable to move nor breathe.

"I see you got my presents." He grins and looks into my eyes. Any words I try to say get caught in my throat yet my thoughts are continuously saying sexual things. It's almost like having an embarrassing friend next to me when talking to a crush.

"U-uhmm... Yeah I did I uh..."

"You look beautiful." He gives me his breathtaking smile.

"Thanks you too... I mean you look handsome!" I stammer and awkwardly laugh.

"Cute." Was all he muttered before lifting his arm up, bending it at the elbow. I put my arm around his and we both walk into the hall together.

Yeah we get a few glances but my thoughts are distracted by my secret admirer.
