In the dark of night, Diana had managed to sneak out of the castle, and outside onto the grounds, just on the edge of the Forbidden Forest. She had changed into more suitable clothes for her journey.

She knew that she was finally ready to do what had to be done, even if it meant lying to Harry,Draco,Pansy, and all the others

She knew that she was finally ready to do what had to be done, even if it meant lying to Harry,Draco,Pansy, and all the others. Her dark clothing was definitely helping her blend in with the night sky. It was now almost midnight; Diana only had until morning.
"Hello," a voice said.
Diana smiled politely. "Hello, Luke."
"Killer Frost's inhabiting of your body has aged you a bit, a few years, maybe?" he noticed.
"It makes me feel more mature, more my own age," Diana shrugged. "And besides," she sneered, "at least I don't have a giant scar running down my face."
"You shouldn't make fun, Diana," Luke Castellan chided with a soft chuckle.
"So. What made you decide that you and The Crooked One are in need of my services?" Killer Frost's eyes flashed.
Luke's eyes also flashed maliciously. "Your talents, of course." he paused with a small smile. "Your ability to defeat the son of Poseidon, to name one."
Killer Frost chuckled. "Ah, yes, that. Of course," she nodded. "From what I've heard, you could never do much as maim Percy Jackson."
Luke frowned. "Let's not let hubris get into our way. Now tell me; are you in.... or out?"
Killer Frost glared. "I'm in."
"Good," Luke nodded. "Now, walk with me for a moment. The one I asked you to kill. Is she dead?"
"Dead as a door nail," Killer Frost confirmed happily. "What was her name again? Beatrice?" she snarled.
Luke shook his head with a laugh. "Bianca," he corrected.
"Ah. I knew it was something like that. Anyways, the Di Angelo boy will absolutely loathe Percy, just as you wanted. But the question is.... why is he so important?" Killer Frost asked.
"All in good time, sweetheart," Luke smirked.
Killer Frost frowned lazily, with a pouty tilt of her head.

"Oh, don't give me that look!" he snapped

"Oh, don't give me that look!" he snapped. "I'll tell you, once your job is done."
Killer Frost nodded curtly, eyeing him from the side.

"You don't trust me," Luke realized with a somewhat hurt smile as Killer Frost eyed him from the side

"You don't trust me," Luke realized with a somewhat hurt smile as Killer Frost eyed him from the side.
"I think I'm right not to," she nodded.
"Well, you'll see that you're wrong soon enough. I'll prove my absolute.... devotion to you."
"Very well," Killer Frost smirked.

  "Now

"Now. Do you think that the son of Zeus would consider joining us?"
Killer Frost rolled her eyes irritably. "As desperately as he pines for me, no, I do not think so, although he could still be useful to us," she shrugged.
"And he didn't even suspect as to how you may have gotten back to Scotland without even taking the train?" Luke Castellan laughed.
"No," Killer Frost replied. "He thinks that I had help from Percy Jackson," she laughed.
He nodded. "Well, I trust your judgment," Luke Castellan nodded. "Now, come on, we shouldn't wait around any longer. I'll take you to.... him."
"I can't wait," Killer Frost nodded with a grin.

"These are his remains?" Killer Frost asked in a small voice, gently stroking the golden sarcophagus.
"In the flesh, or bones, or.... pieces," Luke nodded bitterly.
"And I'm the key to resurrecting him?" Killer Frost asked skeptically.
Luke nodded. "The prophecy fits. 'A heart of ice, bored of compassion and driven by vice, resurrected to freeze the ocean, to the evil of another always a slave, yet always free, will bring eternal winter to the sea,'" he recited.
Killer Frost laughed bitterly. "That sounds about right."
"Now, I believe it is time that you leave me. Are you absolutely sure that no one suspects a thing?" Luke asked warningly.
Diana nodded with a wicked grin. "Don't worry, Luke. No one knows what really happened during those two weeks in Manhattan. Consider my secrecy a love ballad," she sneered.
