It was spring now, and it was a nice day, and a weekend as well. Diana was dressed casually instead of in the school uniforms, although she of course still wore her father's necklace,a pair of earrings from Draco, and her magic rings.

Harry had told Diana that he'd gotten over his infatuation with the Mirror of Erised(Desire), which she was definitely glad to hear. It had began to grow unhealthy, but there was nothing Diana could have done. She was just sitting alone, enjoying her solitude on a bench near Hagrid's hut when Harry,Hermione, and Ron approached her. How unusual.
"What's going on?" Diana asked.
"We have to tell you something," Hermione replied.

Diana listened and was told a strange and horrifying tale about a dead unicorn,Voldemort, something called the Sorcerer's Stone,a three-headed Cerberus dog named Fluffy,a trapdoor, and Snape and Quirrel.
"Alright," Diana shrugged.

  Hermione rolled her eyes

Hermione rolled her eyes.
"We're going down the hatch tomorrow night," Ron explained.
"Oh, yeah, because in the movies, it's always a good idea to go down the scary hatch guarded by a Cerberus dog," Diana nodded.

"Come on, Diana. Be serious. We have to save, well, everyone," Harry argued.
"Harry, I'm never serious. Except for when I am. Of course I'm coming with you, what time are you leaving?" she asked.
"Midnight," Hermione replied promptly.
"Alright, I'll meet you down there ten minutes before," she nodded.
"Okay," the three agreed.

Diana returned to the Slytherin common room to plan. Her plan had to be perfect, and without any flaws. When Draco arrived, alone, Diana sighed to herself.
"Draco, I need to tell you about something," she sighed.
"That's almost never a good thing to hear," Draco murmured.
"Yeah. And it's cliche, but I can't think of anything else to say," Diana agreed.

"What is it?" Draco asked.

He noticed how worried she was. She didn't look very worried, but she never did before. It made her look even older. Normally, she looked 13 or 14. Now she looked 18, in the face. Diana grit her teeth and told him the story. He seemed completely shocked.
"I know, it's definitely a lot to take in, but I need another person with me, in case I, you know, bite the dust," Diana explained ruefully.

"Diana, no, you're not going to die. How could you even think that? You're one of the most talented and smart witches I know," Draco argued.
"Draco, I'm facing Snape, and Voldemort. And a bunch of defenses," Diana explained. "There is a possibility, and I need to prepare for it. "That's what good planning is; preparing for everything. Please, Draco. I need you as my backup."
"If you die facing.... Voldemort, how could I stand a chance?" he asked.
"You won't be alone. I'm no Divination expert, but I know that Harry,Hermione, and Ron will be there by the time I die, if I die," Diana explained.
"Alright," Draco agreed. "If you die."
