Freedom
Why is a raven like a writing desk?
The hatter had once asked,
Does anyone know the answer?
Ravens are as free as can be,
All of their wishes are instantly granted,
Because nothing can hold them back,
From what they dream.
Writing desks are places of freedom,
Anything can happen with help from paper and pen,
There is nothing holding the writer back,
From what he dreams.
So tell me,
Are ravens and writing desks all that different?
