Meanwhile, Brian had been pouting all day because he hadn't been invited to Roger's wedding. Ava was equally miffed about being left off the guest list as well. Afterall, if it weren't for her, Roger and Debbie would have never reunited. Ava was the one who had noticed the date on the back of those pornographic photos of Freddie and Roger, and to be left out of the festivities this way was a real blow to her ego.

But she had to look on the bright side. Roger was getting married, and it wasn't to you.  Yes, she was happy with Brian--she loved him and she knew he loved her too--but she couldn't help but wonder...what if?  What if things had worked out between her and Freddie? He was much more exciting than Brian. And so it pleased her to no end that you ended up with no one at all.

A part of her would always hold a grudge against you for stealing Freddie away from her.

The wedding ceremony was simple yet incredibly romantic, and Freddie found himself close to tears several times.  The whole event had him feeling very sentimental.

Roger and Debbie certainly made a beautiful couple, he thought wistfully as he watched them out on the dancefloor at the reception.  He knew he was expected to dance with the bride at some point,  and he figured he should do it now, before he got too drunk and unable to control his emotions.

"May I?" he tapped Roger on the shoulder.

"Certainly," Roger said with a shy smile, and stepped aside so Freddie could dance with Debbie.

For several moments, Freddie and Debbie danced together in awkward silence.  She wasn't comfortable with the fact Freddie and Roger had once been lovers, and she didn't know what to say.

"You make a beautiful bride," Freddie started.

"Thank you, Freddie," Debbie said.  "That means a lot to me."

"You really love Roger, don't you," Freddie said seriously.

"Yes..." Debbie responded, "Yes, I really do."

"Then I trust you will do everything to make him happy," Freddie said.

"I absolutely will,"  Debbie replied.

"Good, because if you don't, you'll have to deal with me,"  Freddie said.

He may have said it in a lighthearted manner, but Debbie was well-aware Freddie meant every word.

"I'm going to take really good care of him, Freddie," Debbie promised.  "You don't need to worry."

Freddie believed her, and he knew he wouldn't have to worry about Roger anymore.  He was genuinely happy for both of them.

And yet...he couldn't help but feel a little hollow inside as he watched them get into their limo later that evening.  Roger was starting a whole new life--without him--and there was an emptiness in Freddie's heart...

He watched as the taillights from Roger's limo faded into the darkness, whisking the newlyweds off to Bali for their honeymoon.  He had always wanted to visit Bali with Roger, but he'd just never gotten around to it.  Now it was too late.

He reminded himself that this was a happy occasion, not a time for melancholy blues.  And he really was happy for his Babydoll.  Nevertheless, the lyrics to one of his own songs popped into his head...

"Another party's over

And I'm left cold sober

My baby left me for somebody new..."

Only one thing would cheer him up right now:  Sex.

"Wanna fuck?" he asked as he turned toward his date...
