"Mark I just can't." You groaned. You were stressed. You had a ton of work to do for your job, your depression was getting worse and you just felt so alone. Mark took notice and decided to talk to you.
"Y/N please I really want to help you because I know that you're going downhill and I can't let that happen! You're so close to getting better..." Mark hugged you tight and you hugged him back. You both sat there hugging in silence for a few minutes until Mark looked up at you.
"I just want you to be happy... I feel like I can't make you happy." Shock filled you when you heard what he said.
"Mark you do make me happy but my emotions are just bastards and like to mess with me... You make me so so happy... I feel so accepted around you please Mark... Don't ever think that..." You rested your head on Marks chest as he stroked your hair.
"Can we just go to bed?" You suggested. Marks heart broke at hearing you give in so easily.
"Alright." He said carrying you to bed. He held you close and you fell asleep very quickly. Mark however couldn't sleep.
"Please just let her be okay please..."
