I'm actually really sad at the fact that club penguin is shutting down
I had a lot of history with the site, it's where I started on the internet and I would play it all day if my parents would let me. I remember a time where it was New Years and we ended up finally getting a computer, that's where it all started. Now here I am today, all I have now online all starting from my brother showing me what club penguin was. It holds so much history and seeing it gone is making me realize how much time has passed. Oh god, I'm turning 15 soon, I'm growing up and time passes by so fast.
I probably shouldn't be sad, it's just a stupid site for kids but still, it's how I discovered the internet and it defined my childhood. I guess to that I thank club penguin for existing.
As glad as I am that their creating an entirely new app just to keep going, it just won't be the same. I sound stupid saying that but it really will never be the same as the original.
As those working on the club penguin team said, waddle on.
