A/N— Hey.. just warning you. You might get a little emotional during this chapter. Sorry, don't murder me in my sleep. Yet again.. it's kind of stupid

Nova Dillon

It had been an entire week, and my stomach ached at the thought of Cole leaving this very day. I went to class this morning in the worst mood ever. Messy high bun, barely any makeup, and sweat pants on. I was a complete mess, and everyone knew.

"Nova Dillon, right?" Great. The devil Katherine approached me, the look of criticize all over her evil face, "Poor baby. You're moping around because your boyfriend is leaving forever."

I looked up from my paper and glared at her. She was wearing bright red lip stick, her blue eyes popped out, and her black hair was curled, "Get the hell away from me Katherine. Please?"

"Great. You don't want to be around me, which only makes me want to annoy you even more," She let out a chuckle, and sat right next to me. I continued to write my essay, not able to focus do to thinking about everything that was stressful and just plain wrong with my life.

Katherine was a very distinct type of girl. She always knew what she was going to say each moment of every day, as if planning it out months before. She was the type of girl you never wanted to get in a fight with— because no matter what. She'd make you feel worthless afterwards, just like Evinor.

So I sat with a blunt look on my face. Pretending to not care about what she had to say, or what she was trying to accomplish. But it was quite clear she was antagonizing me.

"So.. what'cha doin?" She hovered over my shoulder like a filthy dog, and I let out a deep sigh.

"What does it look like I'm doing? Writing my drama essay. What about you? Did you ever finish it?" I glared.

"Of course I did. I finished it, the day professor told us about the assignment; that's just how I work," Again. I wanted to slit her throat, and throw her into the Pacific Ocean.

I ignored her annoying comment, and continued to type. Of course I was finishing up the essay the day it was due— which was really unlike me. But I had a lot on my plate lately, and this was the first day in a while I haven't had to keep Cole busy.

"Okay class. Today we're going to have a rather fun session. Lip syncs? I'm sure you've all heard about them," The professor continued, "I'll be choosing your partners, and you'll be lip syncing and showing the class as one of your assignments."

If you make Katherine and I partners I swear!

"First pair; Katherine and Nova," fuck, "Parker and Quinn. August and Forrest," The names continued, and I haven't been this furious for a while.

"Looks like you have an hour to come up with a song, and some chill moves," She looked down at her watch then back at us, and everyone in the class scattered; each partnership seeming to get along just great. And then there was us..

"Well, well.. guess we're going to have to compromise to get a passing grade in this class," She folded her arms and bit her pale pink lips, "In that case. I'll volunteer first. She's kinda hot by 5 Seconds Of Summer."

"God no," I growled, and sent her another clever eye roll, "Did you choose that song to piss me off? One of the first words are bitchin. She's going to flunk us."
