Concurring My Fear

I can't believe I'm going to do this. This has always been my dream. "Everyone I want to introduce, Taylor! She is going to sing you a song!" Austin said. "This song is called Place in This World," I said. I took a deep breath and sang like I never sang before. It felt amazing.

When I finished singing everyone clapped and yelled for me. For me! Austin kissed me on the cheek and said, "I told you! I knew you could do it." I smiled and said, "Thank you." "Taylor, everyone!" Austin said. Then everyone clapped for me again. Austin helped me back to my seat. Then continued his concert.

He sang Say You're Just a Friend, Beautiful Soul, 11:11, Let Me Love You, and I'm Yours. "There is one more thing I want to do before you all leave," Austin said. Then he hopped off stage and went in front of me. "Taylor, this is the best way possible to end my show tonight," Austin started, "Taylor tonight has been amazing and I would like to ask you... If um you will do me the honor of going on a date with me?"

I was shocked Austin wanted to go on a date with me? Am I dreaming? It sure feels like it... "Yes, I will go on a date with you!" I said. Austin smiled and we hugged and everyone went "Awe." Austin and Alex led Sarah and I back stage.

"Hey Sarah?" Alex said. "Yeah Alex?" "Could I maybe have your number? Only if you want..." Alex said. "Sure, here put yours in my phone and I will put mine in yours!" Sarah said. "Deal!" Alex said excitedly. As they swapped numbers Austin turned to me. "So, Taylor, how are you and Sarah getting home?" Austin asked. "Oh, Sarah and I have to call my mother to get us," I said. "Well, I was thinking that maybe Alex and I could take you guys home..." Austin said.

"I guess I could call my mom and tell her we ran into our friend and she is taking us home," I said. Austin smiled. I told Sarah our plans and she agreed with it. So, we all climb into Austin's red Range Rover. Austin and I in front and Sarah and Alex in the back seat. "Did you guys have a good time?" Alex asked. "A good time? No we didn't have a good time..." Sarah started then Alex got a worried look on his face, "We had an amazing time!" Alex's smile spread across his face.

The car went silent again. I was staring out the window as I saw rain drops falling. The sprinkles of rain soon turned into heavy rain. Austin turned on the window wipers. When we pulled up to my drive way it was still raining heavily. "Oh great! Well, looks like we're going to have to walk in the rain, to the door," I told Sarah. "Want to know what's best about the rain?" Austin asked. "Sure," I replied. "Well dancing in it is!" Austin exclaimed.

"What do you say Sarah? Want to dance in the rain with me?" Alex asked. "I would love to!" Sarah yelled. Alex and Sarah jumped out of the car and started dancing. I couldn't help but laugh. "Looks like fun don't it?" Austin asked. "Sure does..." I said. "Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" Austin said as he jumped out the door. I couldn't help but join.
