While thinking about Marie, Jones began thinking about Trixie and imagining what her last seconds must've been like before getting her face smashed with a big hammer. He then put on a determined face and thought that he needs to find the sadistic bastard who killed her and save Marie too. Jones will have to use his own instincts that he got from Marie to figure out the truth.

Jones' gut began telling him that Colin Stokes did it cause he is creepy enough and he decided to dig a little deeper into his work place. Once he left the station and was back in the projection booth, the dogs began sniffing around the camera for the last piece of evidence to help solve the case. Suddenly, they started barking when the caught a whiff of something and Jones saw that it was a heart locket.

Jones picked it up and looked at it and thought it was too girly for Colin. He then remembered what Mrs. Holly said about seeing Trixie holding a necklace as she was dying. He then bagged it quickly and rushed out of the booth and back to the station to get prints off of it. Once he got the prints off of the necklace, he sent them off to Alex to get analyzed and he told the tech guy, "Find out who touched that necklace quickly Alex. This is our last chance at saving our friend!" And Alex nodded in determination and got right to checking the prints.

While Alex was analyzing the fingerprints, Jones called Marconi and when he answered Jones told him, "I got my last piece of evidence Tony. Marie better be there when I make the arrest!"

Jones heard him chuckle on the other line and the gangster said, "Relax monkey boy, she's still here. And I wish you would join the party cause the view is fantastic."

Jones then clenched his teeth and he angrily whispered, "What the hell are you doing to her?!" And Marconi told him this and that.

Jones then screamed that he will be there to see for himself and he hung up angrily. Soon, he went to the archives and grabbed the files on the suspects he talked to and he wished desperately that he will find the right person just like Marie. After a while, the fingerprints were done being analyzed and Alex called Jones to tell him the results.

Once Jones was in front of Alex, he explained to him that the fingerprints belonged to the same person; the victim Trixie Velvet. Getting shocked knowing the necklace belonged to their victim, Jones left the tech lab to talk to Colin to find out how the necklace got in his possession. After Jones got back to the theater and confronted Colin, he showed him the necklace and asked it if he's seen it before.

The man then broke out in a sweat and said that it wasn't his and he's never seen it before and then he accused Jones of putting it in his possession. Jones' face then turned angry and he shouted, "Cut the crap Colin! Did Trixie refuse to wear it, is that it?! Did it make you so mad that you had to kill her?!"

Surprised, Colin explained to him, "I would never hurt her! I liked to follow her home after her shift. But it was just to make sure she was safe! But last night, I walked too slowly and when I caught up with her she was already dead!" And he began breaking down in tears.

Colin then told Jones that she had the necklace in her hand and he wanted something to remember her by. If he knew it came from Trixie's killer, he never would've picked it up. Back at the station, Jones was sitting at his desk staring at the necklace and he thought, at least I now know it came from the crime scene but it doesn't even prove that Colin killed Trixie. He then scratched his head in frustration and groaned in annoyance and said to himself, "And I was so close too!"

Suddenly, Grace came by and placed a hand on Jones' shoulder. She then looked at the necklace and she said to him, "Alex told me about your necklace and I think I can help. Did you know this kind of jewelry comes in pairs? There's one you give to your lover and one you keep for yourself." And Jones stood up in astonishment when he realized what Grace was telling him; the killer is wearing the same necklace.
