Bread Jamun [16]

INGREDIENTS :

▶Bread slices - 6 to 8
▶Milk - 1/2
▶Sugar - 3 tbls
▶Water - 1 tbls

METHOD :

Crumble bread using your fingers. Mix milk little by little just enough to form in to a dough. The dough should not be too sticky. You should be able to shaped lemon sized balls out of it. It may not require 1/2 cup milk all at a time. Form small lemon sized balls and set aside. To prepare the syrup boil water and sugar together. Switch off the flame and set aside. Heat enough oil in a pan and deep fry the jamuns on med to low flame until golden brown. Drain and add to the Sugar syrup when it's done. Let it sit on the syrup for some time.
