Chapter 34 - Becoming a wolf

I stopped in front of the door of Bonnie's house. I staggered and tried to catch myself by grabbing the fence of the terrace but my hands, slippery because of blood just slid down it and made me fall. Bonnie probably heard me because she suddenly opened the door and noticed me. '' Oh my God, Alice! ''  

I wasn't sure why I came here. Why I didn't go to the Mikaelson mansion. Klaus's blood was probably able to save me. But I... I was tired of that. Escaping of who I was now. It was time for me to accept that. And I kind a thought that Bonnie was able to help me.  

She grabbed my arm, pulling me back on my feet. I was barely able to stand up by myself. '' Caroline called me and told me what happened. Well, half of it. She said that you went to find Connor. What happened? ''  

'' We fought. He had a needle with werewolf venom... '' I said and staggered inside the house, falling on the sofa.  

'' What? '' Bonnie asked, her eyes widened. '' But werewolf venom shouldn't be able to hurt you! ''  

'' I know... My body refuses to become half vampire, half werewolf, '' I said and closed my eyes.  

'' What? But why? How is it even possible? '' Bonnie asked. 

'' I don't know... It's just that I'm already... dying. '' That was when I lowered my head and puked blood on the floor. I slowly raised from the puddle again, turning to Bonnie. '' Sorry. I'll find you a new... carpet. ''  

Bonnie was staring at the puddle of blood, then she quickly nodded. '' Don't worry. So Connor has werewolf venom? ''  

'' He'll use it on the vampires, '' I explained, tossing my head back. My eyes were almost closed. I felt my body burning and shivering at the same time. It already started. Even if it was slower then the last time. 

'' I don't know what to do, '' Bonnie said, scared.  

'' Tell everything to Damon. And add that he mustn't tell anyone what happened to me yet. ''  

'' Okay, '' Bonnie said, quickly texting Damon.  

My muscles were twitching. I rolled from the sofa and ended up on the ground, missing the puddle of blood just for a few centimeters. I started shaking. I hugged my legs and buried my bloodied face in my knees, trying to ignore the pain.  

Bonnie was squatted next to me, quietly comforting me. '' What do I need to do? ''  

'' I don't know. I just don't wanna die. ''  

'' If you don't wan't to die or call Klaus for his blood... Then the only other way for you is to turn in to a wolf, '' Bonnie said.  

I slowly nodded, with my eyes closed. My muscles twitched. I shook and opened my eyes widely. '' But how? I thought that I had to wait the full moon to change for the first time. ''  

'' As a hybrid, you can change whenever you wan't. But if you don't wan't it, you can turn just when the full moon rises. It always makes you change in to a werewolf. But the wolf is already a part of you. You can turn in to one whenever you wan't, '' Bonnie said.  

'' Why this doesn't make any sense? '' I moaned and buried my fingers in to my hair.  

That was when Damon appeared in the middle of the living room, together with Rebekah.  

'' Shit, Alice, you look terrible, '' Damon said.  

Rebekah quickly walked to me. '' Are you okay? Does it hurt a lot? ''  

I narrowed my eyes with anger. '' Bonnie... I thought I told you... ''  

Bonnie quickly said: '' I told Damon not to tell anyone! ''
