Light a candle

                              Light a candle

A fallen warrior, a crying child, a druggie who got just a little to wild. Light a candle for the fallen, the broken, keep it burning for something to hope in. Let it burn bright, tend it all  night. If it ever starts guttering it will give you a fright.

But a candle's not the only thing you can do, pray for those here, a better fate to construe. What's that, you're better? And you say they sin? Well guess what, we're two inches from them. Don't think we're better because of faith in God.

That's right you hypocrites I'm preaching at you, I don't care if your choir members your acting like fools. Now I know Christianity is good and I know it's right, it's you hypocrites who seemingly without knowing put it in a bad light.

So I'll say a light a candle and say a prayer for the fallen and broken, in a different life I could easily be tokin'. I'll pray for you hypocrites and I'll pray for me, that I never become a whitewashed tomb, something completely pointless to see.
