the Nameless one

by Dillon Collins

First love, first loss, regreting the cost.

First pain, first tears, lamenting the years.

New lies, new shames, shackles and chains.

New strains, new fears, beyond all my years.

I've been stressin' trying to live my life,

wishing it was sombody elses fight.

Wishing i could just stop and drop what i'm doing,

and just run to you, you know this is true an'

I wish i could sit in your lap just like the little children,

but i'm getting older now and i mainly just chill an'

that isn't the best method for living out ones life,

at least all it's seemed to get me was pain, and many a strife.

So i'm warning all you people who just chill and do nothing,

you had better get out and get moving, go make yourself something.
