Our country is too stupid to learn the lessons of the past.

Hanggang "puñeta" na lang ba tayo sa mga kaputanginahang nangyayari sa bansa natin? I mean, guys, if USA's going batshit anxious because of a Trump presidency, we should already be offering our souls to whoever god there is because there's four of him here.

And what the hell's wrong with these people justifying Duterte's rape joke, completely ignoring their moral compass to defend their candidate? It's okay to call him out. Hindi siya perpekto. You NEED to call him out sa mga panahong lumalagpas na siya sa linya. He crossed the line on that joke. At anong argumento itong "I'd rather have a bad joke than a bad government." CAN'T WE NOT HAVE BOTH? Sinong gusto ng putanginang gobyerno? At sinong gusto ng mga out-of-line jokes? Sinasamba niyo na si Duterte, na parang siya ang dakilang manliligtas ng bansa.

That's where we get things wrong. We have this idea that the next president should solve all our problems, that he should make our lives easier, that he should make our dreams come true, that he is holding our fate, that it's up to him to make plans for us, that he should save us from this wretched place, that he is responsible for our own personal lives, that he is a hero and he should save us.

IKAW ang gobyerno. IKAW ang nakakaalam kung pa'no mo bubuhayin ang sarili mo. HINDI mo kailangan ng tagapagligtas. SAVE YOURSELF. USE YOUR BRAIN AND SAVE YOURSELF. Be better. Do better. Aim better. Your future is what you make of it. Duterte, or any candidate for that matter, will not deliver your future in front of your door.

You don't need saving. You need to be slapped. Masyado ka nang tanga. Bumangon ka d'yan. Log-out mo na yang Facebook mo. Make plans for yourself. And maybe—maybe—you include this country sa mga plano mo.
