Splitting Chapters

I see this a lot in stories and personally, I don't agree with it. What is the point in splitting a chapter from part one and part two, and so on? If your chapter is too long, say over 5,000 words, and you feel the need to split it into two, you can make it separate chapters. Chapter one, and chapter two - instead of chapter one: part one, and chapter one: part two.

Otherwise, keep it one chapter. Your readers won't be real readers if they won't read the book and complain always about the length. Because honestly, if they like your book, they wouldn't complain. Especially since I've found that they usually want more chapters.

So it's better to just split the chapter, but instead of making parts, you just make it into a new chapter. That way it seems more organized. Besides, you're basically making a new chapter anyway if it's not with the previous one. So...
