My hair is down in its curls. I sat in the kitchen deep in thoughts as I look out to the backyard to see my friends and family having fun. The fire pit making the whole backyard look quit nice.

I walked go the backyard with everyone and placed it down on the table and sat down next to nay that has her feet in the water.
"Hey" she says and I wave. She looks at me and half smiles.
"Hey don't worry, I'm okay" I said and she sighs
"We weren't there, to help you " she says playing with her hands
"No one new it was gonna happen " I said putting a hand on her shoulder.

Every adult left inside leaving us outside sitting on the chairs. We all was wrapped up in a big or thin blanket. Just looking at the fire pit. Not one sound made. All you hear is the sound the fire makes and Shawn mendes playing in the back ground. I can't stop thinking about him and I don't know why. I can stop thinking how he looks, how he smiles, and how around me he's the real him. But that's all gone now.
