Chapter 13

I answered my phone to hear Kats voice

"I love you." she said

"What the fuck did you do?"

"Can't I just call to tell you I love you?" As soon as she said that, I got a text from Kalel it said:

"Have you seen Kat? She didn't come home last night."

"Kat where were you last night?"

"Ummm....."

"Where were you, last night?"

"Promise you won't kill him?"

"Promise."

"Okay, I was with Danny."

"And what did you two do?" I asked already knowing where this was going

"We..um...had sex."

I hung up right there. I wasn't mad, I was just shocked and scared. I mean she's our baby and she had sex man. What's gonna happen if she's pregnant? I mean, 3 pregnant girls? I don't fucking think so. I ain't dealing with that.

"What happened?" Brendon asked

"Kat had sex with a guy she met with yesterday."

"What's so wrong with that? And they had known each other before that remember? They could have known each other since 8th grade for all we know." He said sipping his coffee

"She's my baby! what if she gets pregnant?" I said almost in tears as he set his coffee down to hug me

"Then Danny will help her raise it. And if he leaves her then we can help her raise it ok? I promise it'll all be fine." he said kissing my head

"I love you so god damn much" I said into his shoulder, now sure of my feelings.

"I love you too." he said

I gave him a kiss ad pulled out my phone and waited as it rang

"Hey" Kat said

"Hey babe, could you come over to Brendons? I want to talk to you"

"Sure, text me the address" she said

"Okay." I said hanging up

"Well, she's coming over" I said to Brendon

"Okay" he said

Ten minutes later I hear a knock at the door and open it to find Kat at the door step. I step aside to let them in.

"Sit down" I commanded.

"Okay" she said, sitting in a recliner and Brendon next to me

"Kat what happens if you get pregnant?" I said joining my hands and leaning forward

"I wont"

"But what happens if you do?"

"Then I'll raise it and I will take care of it."

"Food, bills, house, clothes what about those?"

"My job can take care of that"

"A few hours at forever 21 won't cover it all. And what if Danny isn't around?"

"He will be"

"But what if he's not?! You've got to think of these things babe!"

"Then I don't know!"

"Alex and I will help you with the kid IF you have one" he said looking back and forth between me and Kat

"Well, thank you but it's almost impossible we used protection."

"Oh honey, don't you have some shit to learn. This is why you shouldn't have sex. Condoms are only 98% effective."

"I'm fairly certain it won't happen"

"God dammit Kat! you can't go through life saying, "That'll never happen to me" because it almost always does!" I sighed, "please be more careful." I said getting up and hugging her.

"I will. I'm sorry for scaring you"

"It's okay." I said
