I was young, open with a passion for music.
I grinded day and night for what I had a passion for, pushing myself when I felt like I couldn't go no more.
If I would've just stayed so focused on my music, I wouldn't have got so fucked over in the end...
She hurried her way out the house as I finished my banana. Bronxie just so happened to come running in the kitchen, putting a smile right back on my face.
"Bronxie baby, you coming with mama today?" I asked while picking her up. She licked all over my hands making me giggle.
"I guess that's a yes, huh?"
I placed her back on the floor before heading upstairs to get ready for my day. I did my whole hygiene routine before getting dressed. I didn't even do much to my hair because it would be pointless. That night our hair stylist and makeup artist would get us together, so it was no point in me doing it. Plus, I'm about to head right over to rehearsal and sweat my hair out.
I got dressed in my grey Nike spandex shorts, grey sports bra and my black Roshe Runs, throwing on some shades as well. I got Bronxie in her little Louis Vuitton dog carrier before we headed out to the driver that was waiting for us outside.

We headed right over to the dance studio where everybody was waiting. I greeted everyone as usual before we got into it. Rehearsal was simple. We didn't go so hard simply because we had everything down packed. We foreshore was going to kill that show that night. I was just ready to get on that stage and kill it.
"Who in the world has you smiling like this?"Nae asked Shi as we were seated on the sofas in the back.

"No one." Shi uttered, still holding that goofy grin. Tuh, no one my behind.
"Bitch spill." I said to her while holding Bronxie in my arms and rubbing her.
"It's nothing though, really y'all. This guy just told me I look really good today and I thought that was sweet." Shi told us.
"I know it ain't that Lucas fool?" Nae said with her face scrunched up.
"Right?" I added as well. Everybody and they mama had heard about Lucas. If you didn't, I don't know where you was living. He's nothing but a hoe. Bounce from female to female. Playing every girl in his path. He did not need to come over here with that mess. Not with my sister.
"Yes, it's Lucas y'all." Shi said after smacking her lips.
"Shi, do not associate yourself with that boy. He's nothing good." I told her honestly.
