Thalia POV

"Campers, I have an announcement to make!"

We turned to look at Chiron, who next to his table with Rachel at his side. My hunters scowled at a boy that decided to ignore the centaur and keep talking. He quickly fell silent.

"Another prophecy?" Annabeth asked.

"No..." Chiron looked at Rachel, who was wringing her hands together.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Before you say anything, we have discussed this in length and she is being quite forceful on the matter. Rachel has asked to relinquish her title as the Oracle's host."

There were several gasps.

Rachel looked at her feet, then held her hands out like she was offering an invisible sword to the crowd.

Tendrils of green began to pool into her hands before they exploded outward.

"Hit the deck!" Annabeth screamed. Almost everyone dropped to the ground, except for Leo, who had just walked through the door.

"What's goi-" A tendril leapt down his throat, causing him to choke and drop to the ground, clutching his stomach.

"Leo!"

Percy leapt forward, probably trying to help the irritating Latino, but a wisp of green smoke flew into his mouth and he collapsed next to the son of Hephaestus.

The rest of us clamped our mouths shut until the green spirals dissipated.

"What the Hades just happened?" I shouted.

"I...I don't know...." Chiron mumbled.

"Did the oracle pick Percy and Leo?" A child of Athena asked.

"It's impossible. They're both men and they both have relationships."

Annabeth and Grover ran to check on Percy while Jason, Piper and Calypso moved to Leo.

"They're alive, don't worry!" Nico shouted, getting to his feet with his eyes focused on the two downed demigods. "Check for proper pulse and breathing, if it's erratic they might need to go to the infirmary.

"Are they okay?" Rachel asked fearfully. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know this would happen!"

"You couldn't have, Rachel. The oracle can be quite a fickle deity." Chiron told her, putting a hand on her shoulder comfortingly.

"I would watch your words if I were you, son of Kronos." Two semi-familiar voices hissed, the usual tones from the Oracle adopting Percy and Leo's speech as they slowly climbed to their feet.

"Oracle of Delphi, what is the meaning of this?" Annabeth asked, backing away from Percy.

"A new host must be chosen. Since one on her own was weak, maybe two of the opposite gender will suffice."

I shivered. Leo and Percy spoke in perfect unison, inching forward. On instinct, my bow appeared in my hand.

"Why them? Surely there were guys without relationships in the first place!" Piper protested loudly.

"These two have been chosen, they shall be the hosts. There is no way to change this, daughter of the dove."

"Please, can't you pick another two?" Annabeth pleaded.

"No, daughter of owls. These two have been chosen. There is no changing it now."

"We could always force you to find a new host." Clarisse threatened, raising her spear.

"Please. We have the powers and abilities of these two rather powerful demigods at our service. You would not last long, even with so many of you against so few." Percy sneered this by himself, his already sea-green eyes glowing a poisonous color.

"Besides, would you be able to hurt your friends knowing they would be dead once you expelled me?" Leo asked, arching a brown eyebrow as his hand caught fire.

Several of us faltered, but my hunters kept their bows up, aimed at two boys who honestly did not deserve to be turned into human porcupines. Demigod porcupines. Whatever. Well, maybe Leo did a little, but still.

"A prophecy comes forth." Leo murmured.

"A prophecy that shall decide the fate of the entire camp." Percy said with a smirk.

"Whether it fall by one or fall by all,

there is more information to recall." They recited together.

"Well? Get on with it!" Nico shouted.

Leo pointed at Piper.

"She is beauty.

I frowned. What did that have to do with the prophecy. Was that part of it? Usually prophecies were much more mystic and confusing.

The dark-skinned boy whirled and pointed at Jason.

"He is Grace."

Percy stepped forward as people began to voice their confusion loudly.

"She will punch us in the face!" He pointed at me. The hissy, scary-snake-rattling voice was gone and so was the green smoke. Leo and Percy were grinning like maniacs.

"But only if she can catch us!"

They moved to the far side of the pavilion and began to chant.

"She is beauty, he is grace, she will punch you in the face! She is beauty, he is grace, she will punch you in the face!"

Rachel began to chant as well, barely getting the words out since she was laughing so hard.

The Stoll brothers leapt out from behind two pillars in the pavilion, also chanting as they high-fived each other.

Hazel appeared in the middle of the pavilion, Mist swirling around her feet and hands as she chanted. Nico joined her, a small grin crossing his pale features.

"It was a joke?!" I roared as the rest of the pavilion slowly began to chant as well.

"SHE IS BEAUTY, HE IS GRACE, SHE WILL PUNCH YOU IN THE FACE!"

"YOU BET I WILL!" I leapt after Leo and Percy, who were laughing hysterically.

All the people in on the prank; Leo, Percy, Rachel, Travis, Conner, Nico and Hazel sprinted for the door, cheering and chanting the whole way.

"GET BACK HERE YOU NUT JOBS!" I raced after them, Clarisse hot on my heels.

"No way are these punks gonna get away with it!"
