You felt your boots and the kind of material used to make them. Forming three straps of the material, one for your waist, and two for your shoulders, you got to work.

You tried to recall the wings of a butter-fly. It was difficult, going off of sight alone. It had been months since you had seen a butter-fly around, and even then, you had never felt its wings.

...Momo had wings.
You had felt them.

You replicated the shape of his wings with your void, just on a much larger scale. Then you added in the texture and thickness of them, being sure to make them stronger to carry your weight.
After that, you made two more straps to connect the shoulder pieces to the waist piece, and formed a glue like substance to stick the wings on.

Now, how would you move those wings? You attached two straps of wool-like fabric to the shoulder pieces and put them around your wrists. Once you put the whole things on...

Well, you felt a little bit silly.

But aside from that, you were pretty darn good to go! You hopped off a rock and spread your arms out. You were actually doing it!

You flew up to Appa's level in the air, your arms hurting a small bit. The air pressure wasn't something you had really thought off. You glided over to Sokka and waved at him.

"Hey! I'm off to The North!" You exclaimed. He shrieked as he saw you, "Did you and Momo do the fusion dance?!"

You cackled and flew off in the direction to The North Pole.
———

By the time you started to see ice, the stars and moon were up in the sky. Your arms were getting tired from being spread out for so long.

You glided across the dark sky, cool, frosty winds blowing through your hair. Unsure of your ability to keep going, you drifted down onto an ice floe and covered your body with a warm layer of void.

Hopping from floe to floe, you eventually arrived a the massive wall of the North Pole. The waterbenders on top of the wall seemed to recognize you and began to open the wall for you, but when you launched yourself up with a boost from the void, they stopped.

They looked at your wings in surprise, and then glanced at each other in confusion.

"...You're the girl who was with the Avatar. What brings you back here?" One of them said. "There's going to be another attack," You warned, "Can I speak with your chief?"

"I'm not certain he's up at this hour, but... Follow me, I'll guide you to him." The other waterbender said, gesturing for you to walk with her.
__*.•

Chief Arnook stood by a wall formed with multiple large true arches going along it. He was staring up at the moon silently.

"Chief...?" The waterbender muttered.
He turned around swiftly, "Ah, yes? Is something—" He noticed you and furrowed his eyebrows. You could tell it was not due to any negative feelings, but rather, a recollection of the past. The look in his eyes told you he was a strong man.

"It's you," He whispered, his tone shifted to one of shock as he saw your wings, "That's... New."

"It was a necessary addition," You hummed, "I've come to warn you of something. Something awful."

Arnook sighed, "I'm aware Sozin's Comet is coming, however, we don't want to be apart of the war."

You stepped over to him, "This isn't about the war. This is about your home potentially being destroyed."

He stared at you dubiously, as if doing a double take of what you had just said.
"Do you know who Oka is?" You questioned.

Arnook furrowed his eyebrows once more, "I... I do."

"He wants to destroy the North and South Poles. He's coming here in three—No, two days now, and I think it'd be best to evacuate everyone." You explained.

He raised his hands and gestured for you to stop, "Wait, wait, hold on. Oka... Oka's alive? And you're telling me he wants to attack us?" You nodded.

"We'll be fine. We have a whole army of soldiers who can fight him."

You shook your head, "He's with the Fire Nation, and he plans to attack during Sozin's Comet. If he has firebenders with him, it might be a repeat of the Air Temples."

Arnook's eyes widened, and then narrowed. "The Fire Nation...? How would we evacuate everybody?"

"I'm not sure, and that's why I came here this early." You sighed.

"I was thinking it'd be a good idea to go to the South Pole instead, so by the time he gets here and realizes nobody's around, Sozin's Comet would be over before he could reach the South."

"That'd definitely take a lot of time." Arnook murmured.

"I can help."

You and Arnook jumped at the sudden voice—Arnook looked terrified. The two of you looked up and saw... Yue.

"Gather everyone together, and I'll guide you all to the South Pole." She commanded.

"Yue..." Arnook whispered, shocked. Yue smiled at her father and hugged him, before pulling away, "There's no time to waste. Come on!"

Just like that, you, Arnook, and a very confused, but excited waterbender went around to get everyond out.

Once everyone was gathered outside of the wall on a thick ice floe, Yue and La, the ocean spirit, created a powerful tide to send them along. Using the momentum of it, the waterbenders pushed and pulled the tides in their favor.

In a surprisingly short bit of time, they were out of view. "Thanks Yue!" You called out. That was one important thing out of the way.

The next important thing... Was sleep.
