Pao managed to repair the tea shop from the damage that came with Jet's attack, so the three of you were making your way to it.

Things went about as well as they could, Iroh made tea, Zuko served it, and you brought in more customers, while occasionally serving tea.

It seemed that the events which took place some time ago caught people's attention, because almost every table in the shop was occupied.

You entered the tea shop once you saw that it was full, offering refills and taking additional orders from people.

That's when... You felt a tug on your arm.

It was a guy with slicked back brown hair, dark skin, and blue eyes. He was definitely from one of the Water Tribes.

"Hey! Sorry for grabbing your arm and all, but I can't help asking... Are you from the Water Tribe by any chance?" He asked, running his hand through his hair like a comb.

You smiled, "I am! You are too, right?"
"I am!" He grinned.

"Oh! North or South?" You asked.

"North. The name's Oka. And you?" Oka grinned.

"I'm Y/N, from the south. It's been so long since I've seen another person from my tribe, well, other than my family."

Zuko was in the Worker's Area when he noticed you and Oka talking.

You seemed to be having a good time, so he figured everything was alright. However, after what happened with Jet, he decided to keep an eye on Oka, just in case he tried anything.

"Honestly, same here. It makes sense, though, since most of us are back home. It's a good thing I'm great at recognizing people from my tribe..." Oka narrowed his eyes and smirked at you, "And really cute girls, too."

Zuko scowled, starting to walk over to the table Oka was sitting at. Iroh held him back.

"Prince Zuko," Iroh whispered, "You should allow Y/N to be with who she wants to be with. I understand you were childhood friends, but-"

You awkwardly smiled, cringing on the inside. "U-Uh... I have a boyfriend." You stated, removing your wrist from his hand.

Iroh deadpanned, releasing Zuko. "You and Y/N are...!?"

Oka let out a hearty laugh, "Pfft! And I have a frogfish."

This caught the attention of everyone in the tea shop, as well as Pao's, who put up a "no brawls in the shop" sign.

You furrowed your eyebrows, your uncomfortable smile becoming a frown. "I'm not kidding."

"I know you aren't. It's only logical a girl as pretty as you has someone. What I'm trying to say is... It's not like your boyfriend is here. Don't be shy." Oka hummed, raising an eyebrow as he glanced at your hands.

Zuko stepped beside you, glaring at Oka. "You were saying?"

All eyes were on the three of you, and even though you wanted to do something, you couldn't risk getting fired. (Although, you weren't sure Pao was financially stable enough to fire anyone.)

You figured your best bet would be resolving the situation. "As you can see, neither of us—or anyone in this shop—appreciate or are comfortable with what you were saying. Could you please-"

Before you could finish talking, Oka interrupted you. "Are you calling me a disturbance? Heck, this guy, he's not even from our tribe, is he!? Our people are meant to stick together!"

Meant to stick together?

You... did leave your siblings. What if... He's right?
