"So, did you figure out which route to take?" Aang asked, walking over to you and Sokka, who explained that the only route to Ba Sing Se was a sliver of land called "The Serpent's Pass."
"You sure that's the best way to go?" Toph questioned. "Based on our resources and this map, it's the only way." You sighed. "We'd better get over there, then. It'll be a long, long way to Ba Sing Se, so get ready." Sokka huffed, standing up and putting away the map.
As you prepared to leave, three people came by. "Hello there, fellow refugees." The man said. "Are you guys headed to Ba Sing Se, too?" Aang asked. "Sure are. We're trying to get there before my wife Ying has her baby. You should come with us to Full Moon Bay. Ferries provide a safe route to Ba Sing Se, and it's hidden from the Fire Nation." The man smiled.
"The only way to go, huh?" Katara elbowed you and you scoffed in response. "Yeah. I can't believe you made that mistake, Sokka."
You then elbowed Sokka, you angrily elbowed you, sending your elbow into Katara, who elbowed you back, which made you elbow Sokka, who accidentally elbowed Toph, who bent a fissure out of the ground, launching Sokka into the air.

"I told you already! No vegetables on the ferry! One cabbage slug could destroy the entire ecosystem of Ba Sing Se! Security!" A large platypus bear loomed over a man cabbage cart with murderous intent. "Safe route?" You nudged Katara, who nudged you into Sokka, "Don't you DARE!" Sokka grumbled, giving you the stink eye.
You all walked over to the ticket lady, only to get absolutely rejected and denied. Thankfully, Toph had her passport, granting all of you permission to ride the ferries.
"Have I ever mentioned how glad I am because you're here?" You smiled.
"Yeah," Toph grinned, "But you could do it a whole lot more." As you stepped away from the ticket booth, a security guard approached Sokka.
"Tickets and passports, please." The guard said. "Is there a problem?" Sokka asked. "Yeah, I got a problem with you. I've seen your type before. Probably sarcastic, think you're hilarious, and let me guess, you're traveling with the Avatar."
You whispered in Sokka's ear, "That's definitely you." Sokka shoved you away, "Do I know you?"
"You mean you don't remember? Maybe you'll remember this!" Sokka got ready to block an attack, but instead... Got kissed on the cheek. "Suki!"
You let out a gasp, your mouth agape.
Ohhhh??

"You look so different without your makeup! And the new outfit." Katara said. "That crabby lady makes all the security guards wear them. And look at you, sleeveless guy. Been working out?" Suki smirked. "Ahh, I'll grab a tree branch and do a few chin touche-" You flicked Sokka's forehead, "How come you never told me about Suki!?"
"Well, you never asked about her."
You stared at Sokka, baffled, before face-palming. "How did you get such a pretty girl to put up with your goofiness?" Suki chuckled, "You're Y/N, aren't you? I think I can manage his goofy nature. Speaking of goofy... How come you guys didn't just fly on Appa to Ba Sing Se?"
"Appa... He was taken by sandbenders. We're trying to find him in Ba Sing Se." Aang muttered, narrowing his eyes. Katara wrapped her arm around him, pulling him into a hug.
You glanced at Sokka and Suki, then at Katara and Aang. You let out a hum and rubbed your chin. Sokka had a mushy smile on his face. "I'm so glad we took the ferry."
So now you were at the Serpent's Pass.
Someone had stolen Ying's belongings, and the ticket lady was as bitter as ever. "So this is the Serpent's Pass? I thought it would be a little more wind-y. Y'know, like a serpent. I guess they misnamed it." Sokka shrugged. "What if..." You focused on your surroundings and sensed something within the ocean. "There's an actual sea serpent in here!"
