It was dark. You were somewhere narrow, sitting down somewhat conscious in a rectangular box. There were a few pillows around and underneath you.
You pushed open the doors of the dark prism you were in and found yourself in a bedroom. You squinted, trying to adjust yourself to the change in lighting.
Rubbing your eyes, you realized where you were. You were inside the Fire Nation.
Suddenly, the door creaked open.
You made eye contact with Zuko. The second he laid his eyes on you, he froze.
"You're awake...!" He shut the door behind him and ran over to your side, embracing you.
"I was asleep?" You questioned, dumbfounded and confused.
"Yeah, for... Five days now." Zuko said.
"Five whole days!?" You whispered, shocked. You placed a hand on your head, going over everything you recalled.
Bai Hong tried to kill you, tortured you and used 740 to mentally weaken you, then you met Baoshi, the person Lso created you to honor-
Lso... It had been a long while since you'd heard her voice.
After being stuck in that place for what felt like ages across multiple timelines, Baoshi, 740, and Saiyaka's odd gadgets led to you discovering that the only person who could get you out of there was Zuko. And the fact he could convert void into fire definitely came in handy.
One thing was certain. Zuko, Saiyaka, Baoshi, and 740 all helped to save you.
You looked over at Zuko and a small smile graced your face, "Thank you. Really, thank you a ton."
"I would say no problem, but... There were definitely problems, yeah." Zuko chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Do... Do you mind explaining everything to me? I could put a few things together, but I'm still really confused by all this... Space... Warpy... Stuff."
"I don't mind at all. There's someone who understands it all way more than me, she's the first ever void bender. And, uh, she's also sort of my mom." You explained.
"...Eh?"
You caught Zuko up to all the very long exposition he missed out on and although he was still very bewildered by it all, he was somewhat able to understand it.
"And that's why the necklace I wore was so important. I think it might also be related to the koi fish we saw at the North Pole."
Zuko hummed, "It was related to the Moon Spirit and the ocean, wasn't it? I still remember how it snatched Zhao..."
"That's right. Tui and La, push and pull. Without both of them, nature would be unbalanced."
You put your index finger to your lower lip and narrowed your eyes, "What if my necklace represented two forces similar to theirs? I couldn't recreate it while I was in Bai Hong's 'dimension', but I don't know why."
"That place is confusing on its own. I couldn't tell where the walls and the ground met. Were there even walls, actually? I only saw the ceiling because Baoshi and 740 were stuck on it." Zuko muttered.
"Bai Hong's 'dimension'... Could you really call it that? It's part of this planet." You groaned, "There's still so much I don't know. Like, why can you convert void to fire? What were the names of the entities I saw during my fight with Bai Hong?"
"And how did that lady have portals?" Zuko pondered, rubbing his chin.
"She had what?"
Although your reactions were a bit amusing, Zuko could tell you were stressed out. Deciding to try and calm your nerves, he spoke,
