Uneasy

"It's not getting away from me this time..." Sokka said, rubbing his hands together with a grin. "Watch and learn, Katara, Y/N. This is how you catch a fish." It had been a while since you came back from the Fire Nation, but it was almost like you never left. Gran-gran sent the three of you out to go fishing, and Sokka, of course, was going to make sure neither you nor Katara caught any, so he could say he did ALL the work and eat all the fish.
You were focusing on your surroundings, waiting for a large group of fish to come by. You were not going to let Sokka get all the fish for himself.

"I know how to catch a fish, Sokka." You scoffed. "No you don't! You were always scared of a fish biting you to death when we were little!" Sokka stated. "Uh- Was not!" You said. "Oh yeah? Hwere cwomes dwa fwishy, Y/N~!" He made a fish shape with his hands and started poking your face. "Don't make me snap your boomerang!" You laughed, smacking his hand away.

"Ah! Sokka, Y/N, look!" Katara exclaimed. You glanced to your left to see Katara water bending. "Nice job, sis!" You clapped. "Shh! If you keep clapping, you're going to scare it away! Mmm... I can already smell it cookin'." Sokka stared down at the fish, wiggling his fingers. You sensed a group of fish, and dove into the water. "Y/N, you scared it away!" You could hear Sokka groaning as Katara accidentally splashed a ton of water on him.

You grabbed a ton of fish in a ball of solid void, and emerged out of the water. "Guys, I-... What...?" By the time you got out, the boat was gone, along with Sokka and Katara. "Oh for Pete's sake!" You sighed, leaping across pieces of floating ice.

"Watch out, Sokka! Go left! Go left!" Katara yelled.

She tried water bending the boat away from danger, but ended up soaking you with water. "Pssh! Hahaha!" Sokka laughed and pointed at you. "Sokka you looney breadstick- WATCH OUT!" You screamed. The boat snapped apart, and your siblings landed safely on a piece of floating ice.

"You call that left?" Katara huffed, crossing her arms. "What? You don't like my steering? Maybe you could've, I don't know, water bended us out the ice." Sokka said, raising his hands into the air. "You think I didn't try that!? Is this suddenly my fault!?" Katara shouted. "Uh, should I come over ther-", "No, Y/N! I am PERFECTLY FINE, and CAPABLE of taking care of MYSELF, and my very UNGRATEFUL brother!" Katara screeched. "Ungrateful!?"

The two kept on bickering, so you did as Katara "asked" and hopped across the ice, back home.

As you handed Gran-gran the fish you caught, you felt something shift within yourself. "Mgh..." You began to wobble. "Y/N? Are you alright?" Kanna questioned. "I-I'm fine, Gran-gran. I just... Need to lay down." You muttered. "Go ahead to your room, dear. You can finish your chores later." She said.

You laid down on your bed, shivering. You formed a large ball of void around yourself. "Lso... Are you there? I need to ask you something..." You groaned. She wasn't there. You could feel the strange feeling within you increase, as if the source of it was getting closer. You felt as if you were going to pass out. As your eyes became heavy-

"Greetings." Lso appeared in front of you. "...Wh..." You were back in the weird, dark room. "I apologize for not showing up earlier. You see, you hadn't passed out yet." Lso said, turning away from you. "You were waiting for me to pass out!? And how come I'm awake, then?" You asked. "Well, one, you had previously called me some very hurtful things. Karma, love." Lso chuckled.

"Not only that, but... You still have not mastered the Awakening." Lso hummed. "Awakening...?" You repeated. "Yes! That's what it's called when we share the same body. I thought of it yesterday."

Lso faced you once again, this time with a smile. "What you are experiencing... Hm. Think of the things you notice whenever you breathe and focus. The things within and without, color, roughness... The details. The power items have. And you can feel somethings power as it moves along it's path. However, you can only feel it because it is very great.
