I was from the Southern Air Temple.
...And when I was four years old...

I had a vision of the Air Nomad genocide.

"Huaiyi!" I screamed, rushing outside. "[740], what's wrong?" Huaiyi asked, holding me in place by gripping my shoulders.

"It was the Fire Nation! They—" I began to hyperventilate, "I saw them attacking us! They killed everyone! Everybody died!"

The other children gave me a look of fear and confusion.

"[740], you must calm down, you're scaring everyone." Huaiyi led me to the sky bison stables, away from everyone else.
"I am aware of your gift and the power it holds, so what do you suppose we do to prevent such a thing?"

"Everyone died because none of them fought back. We have to fight back, Huaiyi!" I exclaimed.

"[740]... That is against all that we stand for. Is there really nothing else you saw that could help us make a plan?"

"Nothing! There was nothing but fire, and corpses, and—And everyone was gone." I explained with a shaky voice due to the lump in my throat.

"We cannot harm others, [740]." Huaiyi stated.

"So are we supposed to die!? I can't die! I can't allow that!" I shouted, outraged.

"Everyone could die in an instant, and you're saying we shouldn't fight back!? Are you insane!? We have to ƙįłł ţĥəm ɓeføre ţhəy ƙįłł ųs!"

Huaiyi's eyes widened at my words. "[740], no! We cannot do such a thing!"

"Then what do we do!? How do we save everyone!?" I clenched my fists in anger and fear.

How could he say that? How could he not want to fight back?

"We-..." He gazed at my face with an undescribable emotion that I couldn't understand. It was... Terror.

"What!? What is it!?" I yelled.

"Y-Your eyes... Your aura, it's not..." Huaiyi brought me close and placed his fingers on my eyelids.

"There is something evil trying to consume you."

For a moment, I froze. "S-Something... Evił?"

"ÇRØS§ ØUŢ HĮ§ ĘXĮ§ȚÉNÇĘ."

I groaned and raised a hand to my forehead, doubling over.

Void began dripping out of my eyes.

"M-My... E-Eyes..." I placed my hand onto the area my eyes were.

The area my eyes were meant to be.

It was as if two energies were swirling in my head.

"Please, listen to my voice, little one...!"

"Į ÆM ØN ƳØŲR §IÐE. Į ÇĄN §ĄVĒ ÊVERYØNE."

At that time, I saw a woman in a black cloak with belts over her eyes.
...I also saw Bai Hong.

And I chose to listen to her.

"ÇRØS§ ØUŢ HĮ§ ĘXĮ§ȚÉNÇĘ. HẸ ĮŚ ŴĮŤH ŤHE ĒNEMƳ."

I chose to follow her every command.

I made that X. The pose to rewind time. The pose to bring it forward. The pose to stop it entirely. The pose to cross out some sort of error or mistake.
