Chapter 103 - Ajay's Change

Yamuna woke to find Maaran lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling and Maya missing. Hearing the sound of water running in the washroom she confirmed Maya might be inside and rubbed her face with her pallu and walked towards him. 

Yamuna: elunthu iruntha kuptu irukalam illa pa.. 

Maaran: ipa the ma eluntha.. Maya enga ?

Yamuna: washroom la irupa pola…

Maaran: hm.. amma bed konja lift panreengale?

Yamuna: enaku theriyatu da iru Mayu varatum.

Maaran nodded and they waited but Ajay walked out of the washroom wiping his face. 

Yamuna: Ajay neeya pa ?

Ajay: ama athai enna aachu ?

Yamuna: illa Maya nu ninachan atha.. 

Ajay: nan ulla vara apa Maya Inga illaya.. ethachu medicine vanga poi irupanu ninachan.. unga kita solalaya 

Yamuna: illaya enkita ethuvum solaya..enga pona iva ?

Maaran thought for a few seconds before he tried to get up.

Yamuna: Maaran enna panra padu da.

Maaran: enga.. ma Ava..

Yamuna: Inga tha da engachu pakathula poi irupa.. nee yen athuku ipadi bayapadra ?

Maaran: illa ma.. Avala kupdunga.. avala thaniya poga Venda nu night ah sona illa apram enga ponaa.. aa.. he winced in pain.

She dialed Maya's number but her mobile rang inside the room.

Maaran: enna ma ?

Yamuna: onu illa da.. phone vechutu poi iruka na pakathula tha poi irupa.. nan poi pathutu varan.. 

Ajay: athai irunga nan poran.. 

Maaran: nan tha una Ava kudaya iruka sonan illa.. 

Yamuna: dei ipa yen Avan kita kathara… nee po pa poi pathutu va.

Ajay nodded and moved to the door but the door opened and Maya walked inside the room. 

Maaran: Maya enga pona ?

She sensed the panic in his voice and rushed to him. 

Maya: enna ma enna Achu.. yen baya padra ?

Maaran: enga pona ?

Maya: nan engayum pola pa.. keela Kovil ku tha pona.. 

Maaran visibly sighed, making the other three frown.

Yamuna: enna Mayu solitu aachu poi irukalam illa.. 

Maya: enna athai aachu ?

Yamuna: una yen thaniya vitom nu engala paduthitan..

Maya: ithula enna paapa iruku.. Kovil ku thena pona..

Maaran: engaya irunthalum…nan solara varaikum thaniya pogatha.. kuttu..

Maya frowned in confusion but sighed and nodded. 

Maya: seri poga matan.. nee relax agu..

Maaran nodded but sat there lost in thoughts which did not go unnoticed by Ajay. He was confused about his behavior but at the same time he was able to see the love in his eyes for his sister. 

Maya: Ajay… she called her who was in thoughts.

Ajay: Haan ?

Maya: Maaran ah konja pudikaraya.. hot water vechu wipe pananum.
