"What?" Even if she didn't have alot of money, she was working so she must've had something to fall back on because she had to at least have something saved.

"Yes but he took all my money out of my account so now I have nothing and the reason why I was going back is because he promised to give it back if I came back."

Yet again, I needed to call on Nasir because his name held alot of weight so maybe there was something he could do to legally help her get her money back but even if it was illegal, as long as she got something back and he got what he deserved, I didn't really care.

"Mi nah try help cause mi a look fi a payback Ky, mi just want yuh fi be safe." And that was all that mattered because I couldn't live with myself knowing that I could've done something but did nothing.

I knocked on the door to his office and waited for an answer but instead of an answer, the door swung open revealing kj.

"Den watch big stranger." I didn't hesitate to run into his arms for a hug making him laugh. "Yuh did miss mi after all even tho yuh stop call mi."

"My bad for not reaching out, mi nav no excuse." I told him while pulling away and taking a step back to look at him. "Maamz agree wid yuh tho, look like yah get fat suh." I hadn't seen him in about 3 months but he looked good and he didn't seem to be harbouring any ill feelings towards me.

"Life happens but mi still love yuh same way." He shut the door behind us as he took my hand and walked me to the couch in the corner of the office. It looked a bit different in here or maybe it was because I hadn't been here in a while."Wah bring yuh dem side here?"

"I came to see Nasir but it look like mi miss him."
