Zuko grit his teeth and stepped towards Oka with a grim countenance. But then, he stopped.

He walked away from Oka without looking back, while the other male stood frozen in surprise.
At the end of their conversation, it was Oka who ended up being annoyed.

Dinner didn't go well. Zuko didn't say much, nodding or shaking his head, and only speaking when he had to.

It was awkward, especially since he knew his father had literally planned to kill him.

After what felt like an eternity, Zuko and Azula were dismissed.

He knew you'd need to eat something, especially since you had been unconcious for five entire days, so he asked the royal chef for an extra plate.

Azula walked in a smug manner over to Zuko, who was waiting for said plate.

"You know, Oka's been a very informative pawn. He's told me all about the 'adventures' you and Uncle had in Ba Sing Se," She chuckled,
"You know, I really thought you had become even more of a disappointment. Imagine what Father would've said if he heard that information..."

Zuko sighed and rubbed a circular motion on his temples, "What do you want, Azula?"

"Oh, nothing, I just wanted to remind you how disappointed Father would be if he heard of your shameful weakness. It's great he's so proud of you for...  Capturing the Avatar."
Azula hummed, "You used to be an
embarrassment to him. I mean, it makes sense. When it came to Mother, you were so privileged-"

"You're calling me privileged? You were practically born with a gold spoon in your mouth!" Zuko scoffed.

"I guess I worded that incorrectly. What I'm trying to say is... Mother taught you to be a weakling. You almost became
one while you were in the Earth Kingdom. And you did become one when Y/N was around." Azula said, twirling her hair.

"Don't even say her name. I know all you're going to do is slander it." Zuko huffed, annoyed with his sister's antics.

"I'm stating facts. You've always been the weak link in the family. But apparently, you're starting to change." Azula said.

"...What do you mean?" Zuko questioned, frowning.

Azula chuckled, "Oka told me about how you nearly choked him. He said some stuff to rile you up, and you actually attacked him."

"That–That wasn't a good thing." Zuko stated, furrowing his brows. His eyes had a gleam of regret.

"I can tell you didn't think what he said about Y/N was a good thing. And that's why you tried to choke him!" Azula laughed.

"That's not what I meant!" Zuko grunted.

Azula tilted her head, "What, did you get possessed somehow? Is that why you choked him? Don't act like you're innocent, you chose to betray Uncle at Ba Sing Se."

Zuko flinched.

"I wonder how Mother would react if she saw you now." She laughed, bitterly, "She'd be disappointed, just like Father was."

"Are you done? Have you had enough fun yet, Azula!?" Zuko gave Azula a glare, "You're acting like you haven't done terrible things."

"I take pride in what I do. At least I'm nowhere near as much as a failure as you were. Oh, sorry, you are." She fleered.

Zuko was trying to keep his cool, but inside, he was seething. He clenched his fists.

"Both of us... Need to make different choices." Zuko whispered, expression softening, "Enough people have been hurt."
