"You promised me! Don't you remember!? We used to say that we'd always stick together! And now-..."

Katara saw your hands.

Your scarred, ungloved hands.

"...Y/N." Her voice wavered and trembled, "...I've already lost you too, haven't I? I've already lost you to them. The same people who took away mom... They're taking you away, too."

"Katara..." You whispered.

She spun around and ran away from you, tears in her eyes.

"Katara!" You cried out her name, but she didn't look back.

You chased after her, using your abilities to find out where she went, but you couldn't sense her presence anywhere.

And that was because...

                                  POV

I ran as far from Y/n as I could, but I ended up bumping into someone. It was a guy with messy brown hair, dark skin, and heavy blue eyes.

"Oh! Are you alright?" He lifted me off the ground, gasping as he saw my face.
" ...You look stressed. Is everything okay?"

"Ah, yeah... I just had a family argument." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes.

"Oh, those suck. I hope it wasn’t too awful," The guy muttered, "Speaking of family, you look pretty similar to someone I’ve seen recently. Are you from the Southern Water Tribe?"

I perked up, “I- I am! And you’re…?”

"I’m from the Northern Tribe! The name’s Oka."

Oka gave me a toothy grin, "Do you know anyone by the name of Y/N?"

"...That’s my sister." I said, averting my eyes from Oka’s.

"She was the one who you got into a fight with, right? That girl was really… Weird. She didn’t feel like she was one of us at all." Oka sighed.

"I know, right?! Lately, she’s felt so distant… I…" I bit my lip, "Still, I might’ve been too harsh on her."

"I think she's the one who's too harsh." Oka sat down on a nearby bench, crossing his legs.

"What... Do you mean?" I sat down beside him, tilting my head.

"I asked your sister why she wasn't back home, and she lashed out at me. I mean, family should stick together, right?" Oka placed his hand on my shoulder with a look of concern,

"I could tell she didn't care about her family."

...

I stared at the ground, nonplussed.

"...I saw her with... A guy who... A-A really bad person just now. I think she's being manipulated by him or something." I ran my fingers over my knuckles, glancing at Oka.

"She probably won't want to hear your words since she's being manipulated by him. Do you have anyone you can trust?" Oka inquired.

That's right...! The Kyoshi Warriors!

"I do! I have to go get them to help!" I stood up, determined, "Thanks, Oka. You helped me a lot just now." I smiled.

"No problem!"

____________________??? POV

Oka watched as Katara ran off with devilish eyes. He turned to a figure with a conical hat and a dark cloak.

"I've held up my side of our agreement. She'd better follow through. Do you think I'd make a good leader? General Oka of the Fire Nation. Hm?" Oka laughed maniacally,
