"Mail came." Lilith offered easily as her gaze dropped from the ceiling. Harry's footsteps came running down the steps.

"Happy birthday my love." lilith declared. Harry hugged her tight before she held out the letter that had come.
"It's really here." Harry declared.
"It's really here." Lilith agreed kissing the top of his head. Harry opened it carefully.
Dear Mr Snape,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Harry screamed! Which had Aria running in from the backyard, Ser Pounce hot on her heels demanding what was wrong.
"It's really happening!" Harry declared.
UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for day wear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.
COURSE BOOKS
All students should have a copy of each of the following:
The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 1) by Miranda Goshawk. A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot. Magical Theory by Adalbert Waffling. A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration by Emeric Switch. One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi by Phyllida Spore. Magical Drafts and Potions by Arsenius Jigger."
Harry was so excited as he read off every book and every item. Lilith and severus shared a proud look as Aria walked off already bored to get a snack.
"Mama I can't reach the cookie jar!" Aria demanded.
"For good reason." Severus agreed but he went to help her fetch a cookie all the same.
"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them by Newt Scamander. The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection by Quentin Trimble." Harry went on, he smiled up at Lilith as she stroked his hair.
OTHER EQUIPMENT
1 wand, 1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2), 1 set glass or crystal phials, 1 telescope, 1 set brass scales.
Students may also bring, if they desire, an owl OR a cat OR a toad.
PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICK.
"I feel like that one is directed at you mum." Harry remarked.
"You need a broom, thats just a stupid rule." Lilith countered.
"Owl, cat or toad..." harry remarked looking at their pets. "Well we have three owls." Aria marched back into the room with a cookie in her mouth.
"What?" Aria demanded.
"Mouse or Pip?" Harry questioned.
"They are mine." Aria corrected.
"You have Ser Pounce." Harry corrected nodding to her black cat purring between her legs as they spoke.
"No, you can't have my owls. Ser Pounce loves them." Aria corrected.
"But I'm going to school-"
"We always go to school." Aria corrected. "Besides you know that they are too little to be carrier owls."
"We have a cat and three owls. I want a pet. I'm allowed a pet Aria." Harry corrected.
"HOotie is mama's owl." Aria corrected. "Besides you can get a new one. You know mum and dad will get you one."
"And if I want the one that we already have?" Harry countered. Aria rooted little hands on little hips.
